  1. Will never forget the euphoria on the Saturday afternoon to be replaced with the despair on Monday morning
  2. Good to see recruitment underway & guess would be useful for the next incumbent to see what he is letting himself in for by having a look at which ONE of the squad he wants to keep if any
  3. An honourable end to a dismal episode in the club’s history
  4. There is a middle ground where it’s announced now he’s not being kept on beyond end of season which would be open & transparent & give them some breathing space
  5. Let’s be honest here if KM was being a successful Asst Manager with us his plethora of secondary employment gigs with tv channels & radio stations wouldn’t merit a second glance
  6. Surely someone needs to ask the Board the question re is he staying as sense this is now critical to fan base decision making process on season ticket renewal etc
  7. We will struggle to get 500 tops if the current incumbents are kept on If the board want backing then they need a clear statement of intent to excite the fans & for me I would offer McCall the opportunity to return on the back of unfinished business from 19 years ago - after Jeffries era the team of early noughties were the best to watch in past 30 years - cue reaction
  8. What between the woeful camerawork, the uninformed commentary & our so called professional footballers well nuff said
  9. Guys let’s just get real for a minute & whilst not ignoring the current financial climate the truth is simply this: The majority of the fans on Saturday if polled would say no to Rennie & Miller continuing in post full stop if the new board ignore this then they need to face the consequences of significant drop in season ticket sales
  10. Depends on our risk strategy Don’t envy new board’s position but hey they are the current custodians so the buck has to stay with them My personal opinion for what’s worth is we attract an experienced manager & give him the financial tools to go for it next season as that at least would be a sign of positive intent that I believe the majority of fanbase would endorse & invest in
  11. For me today was a watershed - the fact he tried the 4 4 2 formation in first half then ditched it @ half time is indicative of a manager risk averse to the nth degree. He then compounded that by his substitution of Dixon for the injured ST who clearly as others have mentioned is both done & disinterested As for Gary Miller - a charlatan of a player who runs about chasing shadows - nuff said that he stayed in for whole match Then the crowning glory - substituting the only midfielder trying to run forward with the ball - I too noticed LG’s reaction of utter bewilderment & the ovation McGuffie received from both the south & main stands is testimony to his contribution & also the management decision to take him off / bearing in mind that this player is far from a fan’s favourite For me he’s on death row & it might be he got a reprieve today but if I was on the board I would be now taking action to replace shut down the current experiment
  12. How do we fancy Broonie on loan for rest of season -
  13. See it as an inclusive statement rather than an intrusive question
  14. I was in hospitality at Love Street the day Richard Cadette was racially abused from Paisley Pandas in their Moin stand If that wasn’t bad enough my saints supporting host who had invited me to the hospitality tried to justify & minimise the abuse - sufficient to say our professional relationship died a death that day
  15. Well done sir for bringing some integrity to this thread & for sharing some personal insight here re Leigh
  16. Very saintly high moral ground taken by the Paisley Pandas
  17. In terms of no nonsense midfielder why not offer Robert Snodgrass a deal to end of season as he is also a free agent
