All you would get is the standard working hard to get bodies in, talking to agents and players, etc. Even if a manager expects something to happen imminently they rarely comment in case an expected deal falls through and they end up looking silly.

The only question you might get an answer on is where he was looking to strengthen but I think it's pretty obvious that we need more up front.

There's a meeting with FSS members and the management team on Thursday. I'm guessing recruitment will be the first question everyone wants to ask about so you'll get an update soon enough.

    Thanks 👍

Very harsh to drop MCCann the way he’s played in the games so far, he’s been excellent. Mackie has also been very good at center back.

I agree & think it will be the same team which started against Hibs with Hendrrson returning to bench along with Williamson after his Covid isolation.

Also would not be surprised if a coupe of players added by Wednesday evening including a striker & cente midfielder.

He signed a professional contract with Falkirk in the summer of 2017 and got a two year deal, so he wasn't personally affected by the closure of academy in December 2017. He was amongst the final batch of FVFA graduates. He asked to leave in January 2018 and immediately signed for Celtic.

    Thanks

What I would say about tonight is alongside the massive difference in tactics which shows we have a much better coach and manager in Smith and McGlynn the effort, application and commitment from every player shows they are also very good and respected leaders which is really important for the position we are in. Great stuff and plenty positives all round.

    Totally concur

Fair play to Brad McKay btw for all he was absolutely dire last season I think he’s been very solid so far in the 3 games i’ve seen him.

This will absolutely come back to bite me shortly.

Solid some of the time I agree in first half but three times he mistimed the bounce of the ball after break resulting in red card for his fellow defender, yellow card for himself & missed opportunity for Morton attacker in other instance.

Personally speaking he is a squad cover option at best like McCann & once others like Donaldson & Watson are fit don’t see him featuring much at All

    He looks absolutely delighted.

Think he was coached by Dowds

This young boy is a class act as I’ve watched him a few times play against my grandson at boys club level - as Manager indicated he has a wand of a left foot & whilst slight of frame could be a new Craig Sibbald if ge fulfills his potential- watch this space 🤔

  7. Now here’s some humour to start your Saturday

hree Scottish sides have been named in the UK's top ten most investable clubs. The research comes from a collaboration between football finance expert Dr Rob Wilson and BetVictor. Arbroath top the list, Ayr United placed in second, with Livingston also making the top 10. (National)
