He's been to a few games and still contributes into the club financially also. He's also a big sheep fan.....🤣🤣

Fair enough. I have seen quite a few posts he’s made on the Aberdeen thread.

New jibe needed after our first title 🙂 give big al my regards.

He hasn’t been on here for quite a while. Not seen him at a game since our demotion. Congratulations on your title.

Never a dull moment at Cowden. Lot’s of love shown on here for Callum before he packed his suitcase and trundled off into the next available jungle.  I still think that the board were right in trying to employ a new type of manager with experience at this level but for me he just wasn’t driving us forward and developing a cohesive and consistently competitive team. Our home performance was particularly poor, which is rather puzzling.

For me, him moving on is probably a good decision for all concerned and I wish  good luck to him. I honestly cant understand Bonnyrigg’s thinking on this one. Perhaps they see the next Alex Ferguson in the making. Not much evidence to support this hypothesis yet but hey, give it time.
In the meantime I wish Stevie Crawford and the team well until the end of the season. A promising start for sure. Loads of good will obviously still exists to build upon.

I agree with the Bonnyrigg appointment being a surprise. Calum Elliot had us playing much better football than we had seen for quite a few seasons. However results were poor especially at home. You can have excuse after excuse but that was wearing very thin by the time he left. I must admit I was very surprised Bonnyrigg approached us and ended up paying compensation for his contract. Bit of a gamble in my opinion. However I do wish him well. Meanwhile we move on and keep trying to improve.

can’t be surpised given his history, first sniff at a job higher up the food chain and he’s off

Maybe. However I feel budget constraints at Cowdenbeath might be a factor. Sorry to see him go.

  5. I see absolutely no reason why we should be changing managers at the moment. We are better than last season and hopefully there will be more improvement next as well. I’m not abandoning ship and will be purchasing another season ticket. I do concede there have been more disappointing results than good ones. It has to be better next season.

  6. Our ability to threaten to win and find a way to lose is astonishingly good. Week in week out we pass up a host of chances then lose a goal. I’ve been going to Central Park for more years than I care to admit and I can safely say I’ve never witnessed anything like this. It’s baffling and annoying in equal measures.

Tranent and Cumbernauld both beat tonight. Again boosting our chances of 2nd place.

Not entirely sure how it works, if the HL/LL seasonal switch of two invites is still a thing or the whole Cowdenbeath carry on at the start of the season, but if we finish 2nd in the league do we get a League Cup group stage spot?

I’m not absolutely sure of this but I think it’s one place only with the Highland League getting two spots. The second spot is alternate between LL & HL. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m incorrect.

  8. Great to see Daryl Healey scoring again. He’s doing really well. He’ll be a big asset next season. He gives us another option up front. Really good signing.
