We look just like we did last season around the time our league season came to a grinding halt (that Accies midweek game). We can’t defend crosses. First goal there’s a corner that goes too long, gets retrieved by Livi and crossed back in and there’s a Livi player standing unmarked at the edge of the box. Nice wee saunter into the box and knocked home. Second goal is what we saw a lot last season. A cross that a proper central defender would clear all day long. Two Rovers players there (Brown and someone else) and the Livi player easily wins the header and scores.
From the highlights, Connolly isn’t quite back to his best. He doesn’t look match fit yet. A fit Aiden Connolly is scoring yesterday from at least one of the chances he got.
