  1. Rain has been fairly light for the past 90 minutes or so. A heavy burst to pass through in the next hour or so, then it's to be light rain up to the K.O. I think the deciding factor will be whether the police decide the roads between Kilmarnock and Paisley are safe to travel on or not.
  2. The "swimming pool" at Aldi has reformed, so road closed.
  3. Good. You're about the only support that we can trust not to disgrace themselves* when provided with the full allocation. P.S. Don't let my faith in you be misplaced. *That doesn't apply to posts on here.
  4. Both provide cover for injured/suspended players. We'll need them over the coming months. Definitely need to bolster the midfield though.
  5. That may have some bearing on the matter, but I think it's more down the significant drop in quality of too many aspects of our play. E.g. Use the ball better when we've got it. Stop giving the ball away. Put in better quality crosses. Cut out the mistakes at the back. I think the fact that the midfield performance has been very poor of late is the main problem. It's neither creating chances nor is it keeping the ball to take the pressure off the defence. There also looks to be a bit of a lack of confidence with some players. There have been a lot of instances when players have been going forward with acres of space to run into but then inexplicably turned back, when they could have driven into space and put pressure on the opposition defence. Instead we end up passing back and across our defence, giving the opposition time to re-group.

  7. Remember the last time you played us at our ground? That went well for us.......................................
  8. Fraser is the vice captain. I assume he took it. Although we miss Strain's deliveries, which weren't always perfect, is it unreasonable to ask the rest of the players to put a decent delivery into the box? Over the past couple of months it has been atrocious. Most recently V Motherwell and also yesterday. Tanser hit one decent delivery, which Gogic got onto the end of and forced a decent save from Clark. other than that, crosses sailed over the heads of the strikers or were easily cleared or cut out by the Hearts defenders. It's no wonder our strikers haven't scored, as we've barely created anything for them to actually strike. Although, the Ross County game did see a few created and missed, so they're not without blame either. Will be interesting to see if Elvis (the RWB, not the halfwit that infests here with his pish) makes a difference. As others have mentioned, there are too many wayward passes, combined with basic mistakes at the back. Robinson has a lot of work to do to redress the situation.
  9. Not so sure about that. The form of our entire team, bar Hemmings, has dropped off a cliff. However, we do play better at home. If we play like we did v Ross County we've got a chance. If it's like the recent Motherwell performance, then you'll take all the spoils.
  10. The difference between the teams was Shankland. Two great finishes. Take him out of the game and both teams could still be playing out a 0-0 draw. Parallels with Aberdeen and Miovski and 'Well last year with KVV.
  11. Absolutely. If I'm watching a game on SKY or TNT on my laptop, I never turn the sound up. I don't watch the pre-match stuff or the HT discussion. It invariably turns into ex-old scum players exhibiting ridiculous bias towards whichever of the arse cheeks that they played for.
  12. Why would I need to be warned about something that I've said we're used to experiencing? Let it go............................
  13. We're well used to that. Jack Ross to Sunderland and Jim Goodwin to Aberdeen spring to mind. Most clubs will have experienced a manager, who does well with their club, leaving for a bigger, more successful team. Given our club structure we won't be left with a shit show. I think you really need to get over it.
  14. We'll have to hope that they don't get a fillip from their big team winning silverware at the weekend.
  15. Bar the home game v Ross County, we've been way short of our early season form. Hearts look to be on the up, so difficult to see us taking anything from a ground where we're rarely successful.
  16. The main worry is that our own wee bunch of clowns that chase each other around, start copying them.
  17. Absolutely. We're fortunate their strikers couldn't score in a barrel of fannies. Also, that Hemming had a couple of decent saves.
  18. Warning: This game will have tackles from the onset that may cause excessive knicker wetting for some individuals.
  19. The Main stand assistant was rotten too. Looked like a team of YTS officials on their first job.
  20. From what I saw midweek, when Baccus came on, we improved markedly......................................
  21. My brother knows a guy who supports Plymouth who said he said when we signed him that he was "a solid but unspectacular CH." Only really going by that.
