  1. Slightly. Anytime he plays for N.Ireland he puts in a strong display. Probably because he's playing the position that he's played so well at for Glentoran. He was a stand out for Glentoran, but at a lower level than the premiership. It's not always easy for a player from a lower league to make the step up, particularly when you're played out of position and have had a few niggling injuries. I think he'll come good next season, if he is played in the correct position.
  2. Should generate some more funds to wheel and deal over the next few days.
  3. At least we're at home. Might help if we can keep 11 men on the pitch.
  4. Indian Scene in Glasgow Road next to Harvies. However, I'm sure any of the others in will be fine. I notice the Ashoka has opened up where La mirage/Bruno's used to be.
  5. He did well for the first half dozen games, then the manager started putting him at WB. If you watch the N Ireland games where he usually plays well, they just stick him out on the wing with the apparent instructions to get the ball into the box whenever you can.
  6. We don't. We get this every time someone thinks they can count how many people are in the crowd. The tickets sales are electronically recorded and we're accountable to that.
  7. It's a goal scoring striker we require, not another wide player.
  8. A wee bit rusty, but looked pretty useful, albeit against lower league opposition. Stick him in the middle and tell him to break up play and make tidy passes and he'll be fine IMO. Some nice bits of skill too.
  9. I don't know about that. The cars version I had in the late 70's had the Austin Allegro and the Austin Maxi.
  10. Might be Jordy Hiwula? Jordy Hiwula - Wikipedia Ross County fans should be able to pass comment.
  11. Would you expect anything else from the individual concerned?
  12. I watched the second half and he strolled about the midfield making passes and breaking up play when required. Nearly scored a 40 yard OG mind you.
  13. Absolutely. I remember some clowns in our support informing us that Baccus would never do after his first game. My green bigot supporting brother-in-law said that Kwon made some mistakes against Bilbao, but he did also say that Hatate was dreadful that day too. He mentioned that Kwon was known as the "Korean Rhodri" and was highly rated in South Korea. The intention was to play him in the No.6 role. A leap into the unknown with fingers firmly crossed that he's not shite.
  14. St Mirren Football Club is happy to announce the loan signing of Hyeokkyu Kwon until the end of the season subject to clearance. The Korean midfielder joins Saints on the temporary transfer for the remainder of the campaign from cinch Premiership league leaders Celtic. 22-year-old Hyeokkyu joined Celtic in July after agreeing a five-year-deal to move from Busan I-Park in his home country. With Keanu Baccus away with Australia as part of their Asian Cup squad, manager Stephen Robinson admitted it was an area that he was keen to add to. Stephen Robinson said: "He’s a player that comes highly recommended. Celtic were very keen for him to come to us which is a complement to the coaching staff here. "He’s played a lot of games in South Korea and was signed by Celtic for big money. It was an area we needed to strengthen in midfield and with Keanu away at the Asian Cup it was important that we strengthened there. "We believe that he [Hyeokkyu] will come in and add that strength. He breaks up play really well and he can start play really well for us as well. I’ve had some good conversations with Brendan Rodgers about him and we’re delighted to have him in."
  15. If it means that Main returns, then other than Ayunga, we can get rid of any of the other strikers IMO.
