  1. The manager explained this at the recent Q & A. Apparently the stats show that Fraser makes less mistakes in there than both Taylor and Dunne. With Bolton being such an excellent option at right CH, it makes sense.
  2. Used to be my mate's postman when he lived in Kelburne Drive. He used to rip the piss out of Moore mercilessly. Agree with you that Bolton should come back in. Weirdly Fraser seems to make less mistakes on the left side compared to his favoured right side of defence. Other than that, more of the same with several goals please.
  3. The club should tell them to GTF until they can behave themselves. I've seen various organisations mentioned who apparently should be taking action to improve their behaviour. Not yet seen any posts suggesting that their parents might actually take some responsibility for sorting out the behaviour of the individuals involved. From this afternoon's club statement, it would seem that the club are aware of their cowardly behaviour.
  4. We did turn up on Saturday against a poor Livingston side, but couldn't score for love nor money. The fact that we're at home should improve things, but as long as we continue to miss absolute sitters, you have a chance of taking something from the game.
  5. Looks like Robinson responded more to the stupidity of the comment rather than anything else. If you watch our team regularly, the one thing that this team most certainly doesn't lack is a fighting spirit. Now maybe if he'd said that our strikers couldn't hit a coo's arse with a banjo............................
  6. Doesn't help when Gordon plays the perfect lay off to Diomande.
  7. You'll get halfwits in every support. However, our halfwits seem to be "par excellence" when it comes to stupidity. Of course our strikers and others should have performed better yesterday. However, the team tried their heart out to win that game yesterday. It just wasn't to be. As you say, our some of our support have very short memory when it comes to our general performance levels pre Robinson. Ironically, they'd be the first to jump on any new manager in the event that their brain dead antics drove Robinson out of the club.
  8. TBH I'd go with Baccus, Kwon and CBM in midfield. I felt that, at times, the opposition was getting way too much space due to their superiority on numbers in there. That would mean two up top, but with CBM pushed a bit further forward it might work. I just think both Baccus and Kwon are too good to leave one of them on the bench, but CBM has been great too and doesn't deserve to be dropped. Although, having said that, I doubt Robbo will change his system.
  9. We also need the midfield to start chipping in. Not for the first time in recent weeks, Kiltie fluffed his lines in front of goal, with a header that looked easier to score than miss. The rest of his play has been great, but..........................................
  10. Oh I'll be there. However, plenty won't due to the reasons I cited. It's a pity the shine is taken off such an occasion, but as the football authorities seem to think this type of behaviour is acceptable, then that's the way it's going to be in ties of this kind and any matches against them and their alter egos. Whatever the result, I know I'll be going home wondering once again how any fan can continue to attend matches whilst their own support indulge in that type of behaviour. I think Bolton will be a huge miss. On their day, Dunne and Taylor can be good defenders, but both are susceptible to Keystone cops moments. Baccus will step in for Kwon. Let's hope both he and CBM can last 90 minutes, as without O'Hara and Kwon we're very light in that area. Think the key will be Mandron roughing up their centre halves as they're both pretty average. If Scott and Tanser can get the ball in early we might reap the rewards. Would be nice to see Kiltie exhibiting some composure in front of goal, as his play over the past few games has deserved a goal or two. A refereeing team and VAR team displaying an iota of competence would be welcome too.
  11. I don't think getting tickets is the main problem. Probably more to do with the visiting fan base revelling in songs glorifying terrorist organisations and the associated, brain dead bigoted grunting. Thank f**k we only give them one stand. Worth every fucking penny.
  12. There was a challenge in the English premiership almost exactly the same the other night. Guess what? An initial booking, which wasn't changed after a VAR check. Our referees are, by and large, card happy and incompetent to boot.
  13. Morten didn't really have to play particularly well. I reckon if either yourselves or us had played Morten we'd have won fairly comfortably.
  14. We'll just need to rely on big Mika tearing up the green bigot defence.
  15. Where? All I can see, with the odd exception, is folk praising Dundee and saying that it will be a hard fought, close game.
  16. Whilst matters are cordial.................. I've only ever been to the area of Dundee where the football grounds are. I've often wondered what the rest of it was like and if it would be a decent place to spend a weekend with the other half. Given the improvements over the past couple of decades, there must be lots of decent hotels, bars and restaurants. Go on Dee fans, wax lyrical about your city.
  17. It was another one of those penalties where the player's arm was out from his body and the ball hit it. No intent by the player at all. A ridiculous award, but these are the rules and we've had several given against us for the same thing. Deliberate handball to gain an advantage shouldn't be that hard to spot on VAR and that's when a penalty should be awarded, not when a ball is blasted against or deflects onto a player's outstretched "unnaturally positioned" arm from a few feet away IMO.
  18. Really? Did you read our thread after we missed out on signing KVV? Total gloom and doom, because our squad is apparently weaker than before the transfer window opened. We were shocking at Dens in the 4-0 pumping. I'm sure the players will remember that. Both teams seem to be playing some decent football, so hopefully it will be a good watch and a win for us of course.
  19. At least you lot can. Too many precious little flowers amongst other supports.
  20. Strange that we posted on a subject that has since been proven that it was indeed the wrong decision by VAR not to deem the spot kick void.
  21. Hibs fans are pretty decent and can take a wind up. The rest, bar Killie and Livingston fans, not so much. They like to give it out, but can't take it when the boot is on the other foot.
  22. Have to say that I was slightly worried that the substitutions you made at HT would cause a bit of an arse collapse on our part. However, we effectively went into training game mode and although you definitely put more pressure on us, they didn't stand out as I thought they would, albeit that it was their first outing.
  23. Just needs a wee bit more composure in front of goal. Takes a great penalty though.
