  1. Think we all got a bit carried away with ourselves with the name calling and stuff.  It took the Kilmarnock/Arthurlie fan to pint out we are just supporting our team....or teams in most of you boys cases. Anyway I'll leave you with this as a short snippet into the workings of you big boys who belong in the big league etc etc blah blah

4 years ago Neilston paid money for 2 players from Arthurlie, small fee's,but money none the less. The 2 players came through your academy but your manager at the time ,who I know for a fact was backed better than any manager before him in recent years, wanted the cash from these 2 transfers and was given the green light by those above. Those 2 players have went on to be pivotal in everything Neilston are doing at the moment. Best bit is you had one of them on trial at the beginning of this season but for whatever reason he ended up back in the sunshine up yon hill

fast forward to 2/3managers for yourselves later and at the beginning of this season you signed 3 players who were released by Neilston (never heard of in all my years following Neilston) 1 of whom is back with us,1of whom has chucked it altogether and 1of whom I believe is still with you but isn't getting a game?

what I am getting at is your club has been in a steady decline for the past 10 years, support is dwindling week in week out, depending on where your other teams are playing and changing manager after manager is not working, that is obvious for all to see. So you can come on here with your insults and your shitty comments to me and anyone else that has an opinion. That is all

Aye Worzel. I couldnt sleep last night after your hurtful presumption.  You give yourself far too much credit.  You are but a slightly annoying itch.  There are many others on here who come on with measured posts whether it be critical or praising.  Those posters are the one's who give me pause for thought. You barely register.

There you go again with The name calling cause  I Support neilston you associate me with a farm. That’s like me calling you a junkie cause you support arthurlie and I associate that with the Main Street in Barrhead. Silly boy

My reply is due to the fact you spend more time on here talking about Arthurlie rather than your own club. But whatever 🤷‍♂️

The drama surrounding your club keeps me coming back. What can I say. It's rivalry and when your threads keep churning out the same comedy gold it's hard to not comment. I'll watch from afar in future. Good luck with your youth academy

Nice to know that we live rent free in your heads. Even when your having the season that your having it’s still all about the Arthurlie for you guys. See you in a few weeks!!

To be honest I've been on here before we entered in to the season that we are having criticising the managerial merry go round at your club. I just take an interest in how a once "big" club in the juniors can fall away so rapidly while banking more cash from selling off surrounding areas of dunterlie than they banked when they were winning Scottish cups and the likes. Fair to say that some of the reactions I have read tonight points to lessons haven't been learned but I suppose time will tell. As for living in our heads rent free you couldn't be further from the truth but as you replied to my reply to someone else's post on this thread tells me that my comments got in your head🤦🏻‍♂️

Season over before Christmas, team going nowhere and I suppose the only consolation is that they are unlikely to get relegated.  The team have lost 8 out of 17 league matches so far, which is a dreadful performance.  I have heard that 'Tiger' has also left the club

This season has been an unmitigated disaster for the club and I wonder where they are going to end up, as there doesn't seem to be any plan in place to progress the club.

Quick and genuine question for Glasgow Taxi, is the Arthurlie budget higher than Neilston's or Blantyre's?

I reckon there is only one team in our league with a bigger budget than Arthurlie and it's not Neilston or Blantyre

Well, that was a game of two halves. At half time we should've been 2-0 up at least, but after that second half we were very lucky to get away with a replay. I enjoyed my visit to Neilston, friendly people and a good trip.

Good to meet you and your mate today Marten. We were in the pub with the kid after the game. Safe journey home

Aye the charge came for you guys just too late think that result killed you both tonight can't see Rossvale dropping anything in the last 3 games

Maybe to neilston at a push there away form has been very good but dalry and kello cant see it

We pumped Cumbernauld to help you out a few weeks back and you never took advantage

  8. Not been on in a while due to an extreme lack of games at the brig,no competitive football since the 2nd of march has left us scratching our balls looking in from afar. Interesting that we play 4from the top 6 before the season ends and with the new faces being brought in and existing players playing for a shirt next season,I think we could be a thorn in the side for a few of the promotion contenders

That aside,as much as I think the new fixture layout has been good and welcomed in some parts,in others it has turned into a shambles. 3 home games in January obliterated what grass we had on the park leading to a few call offs this month and now as mentioned no competitive football in a month!!!!

  9. Good result for the farmers boys down at Dalry and good banter with the young team as well. Seen nothing but bad press for them on here...... blue smoke bombs aside they were all good boys. Think a few folk on this thread need to think back to when they were the young team following their club........if any of you have been following your club for that long?

  10. Never seen much of the game today but what I did see and talking to others you deserved you victory. A totally different team from the one we beat at larkhall a few months back. Well done to everyone involved because the way it has been going for you guys this season it would've been easier to just walk away and give up,given some of the results. You may have a big say on what happens at the top end of the table with a few of the promotion chasers still to play you this season

Not at all mate just being realistic, optimistic if anything. Glensmad said he expected Bens to score a similar amount to the 9 they got against Girvan and we're in the habit of losing 9, title challengers at home to the bottom team who haven't got a single point.

I'm not a player but if you offered me 3-0 I'd bite your hand off, a respectable score and realistically as much as we can hope for.

And for the record, the players have done anything but throw the towel in in any of their games this season. Their attitude has been brilliant and they've kept going even in the face of repeated pumpings, the problem is ability and experience at this level, not their attitude.

Wasn't having a dig just disappointed if that the attitude coming out the club. Had some great away days at larkhall and always found them a well run outfit. Hit hard times but with a good support and the right people in charge I'm sure you'll be back  up the leagues soon

Don't think that's going to happen this time, we were getting back on track before the Kilsyth game but had a few players out. With them back and one or two additions it won't be 9 this time.

Still think we'll get beaten though, hoping to keep it down to 3 or 4 :)

Fs big man, talk about throwing the towel in. Don't know if your a player or a fan but with that attitude it's no surprise your where you are in the league

Benburb will go back to the top of the league next week after their 9-2 demolition of Girvan today, and I expect them to do something similar next week at home to Larkhall Thistle.

Rossvale continue to look like serious title contenders with another win today.

It's getting really tight at the top, but unfortunately for the current bottom three I think the relegation issue is pretty much already settled.

How many of the 9 was a long ball ,cause that's all the supposedly do? Asking for a mate Griffiti on the wall....

  14. Think the result for Talbot today should put this thread to bed. Junior football, especially in the west is thriving. We can all hope to get near the talbots status within our game, which makes for a healthy and competitive group of teams with hungry committee and supporters desperate to take part in what we witnessed today.  #naejuniorsnaepoint

To be fair i thought Neilston started well without troubling Arthurlie. When Arthurlie scored their first they went on to show the gulf between the 2 teams.  James Marks was excellent today . Got a bit heated at times but thats what you expect at a local derby.  In all honesty it the easiest game the LIe have had against Neilston for as long as i can remember.

Agree with that. Jiro never had a save to make. Marks played well but the stand out was your no6. Old head, who sat in front of your back four and lapped up everything that came near him.
