As has already been said, whoever it is that's doing the fixtures should have a rethink. Is there any need to send Nithsdale to Newton Stewart on a Wednesday night? I don't think so.

The point is not to attract a bigger crowd. How are players expected to finish work at say 4-30 at the earliest .change and get from say Newton Stewart to Nithsdale or vice-versa? to warm up properly and kick off at 7-45 when there are obvious alternatives available?

It's tier 6 level in Scotland.

Most other leagues even at tiers below have to get on with it.

Who'd be a fixture Secretary just nae pleasing some folk!

Aye decent deal tbf. Lochar is run by the folk who run the arena food at Palmerston and it's very good stuff.

It's just a personal thing, I'd hate to be drinking then hopping on the coach for an hour before the game. I'd either be sober by the time we arrived or dehydrated from the number of pisses I'd have to take on the bus

 i do have previous for jumping off the bus at the wrong roundabout in Dumfries trying to get to the train station. What a trek that was in the dark  but aye you do have a very valid point.

Sorry mate I was too busy thinking bout how they say Creetown down here.

    Right Creetown is basically shut.

Newton Stewart, Gatehouse of Fleet both have a few hotels and pubs. There are also caravan parks along the A75 if that's your jam.

Can't decide between this and the Talbot game for that day.

No probs the club are putting a bus on and stopping off pre match in Dumfries. Should be decent day out.

Creetown be a much tighter match than Talbot match.

Tickets go to those who attend the most games. Always been the same. Folk moan about the system but you could have got an Ireland away tickets with no away points? 10 homes and 2 loyalty points?

Ireland away defo wasn't zero points.

There were loads in the "unofficial" away end to the side of the goal where the main support, who would've got the points were.

I am of the opposite view. I would only give points for home games. That would give priority to fans that actually financially support Scotland. Similar to the way club sides look after their fans. Why would you want to favour guys that only go to away games?

Fans that go to away games will almost certainly be attending home games.

Are you suggesting that spending hundreds of pounds financially to get to an away match shouldn't count?

Don't forget it's only the last 10 matches so points are dropping off as well as gaining points.

There's not a lot you can do regarding points. Maybes 1 point travelling away without an official ticket with proof of travel as there's loads who can't even get a sniff of an away ticket but it would be easy to copy and print a boarding pass/hotel confirmation etc so don't think that would work either.

I would suggest putting away travel points into zones. Further away travel from Scotland the more points you should get.

It's easy to get to your France,Germany,Netherlands but not so with the likes of Georgia,Armenia etc.

It's frustrating travelling all over Europe without getting any points at all but that's not the SFA s fault, it's the opposing countries giving out the allocation.

At the end of the day they're not called loyalty points for nothing so guys that go home AND AWAY deserve 1st dibs whether it a friendly or a major competition.

Is everyone forgetting about Crossgates & Dundonald? All I hear is Sauchie, musselburgh and jeanfield.. Time to broaden your horizons

Would Crossgates no need to upload there facilities for LL ?

Obviously there's ways around that as clubs have took piss to get round obstacles.

I still blame these tossers for knackering Edinburgh City's unbeaten LL season as we had to kick off in bloody Dalbeattie at 11 am on a Sunday! 12.15 in Whitburn is nothing compared to that one.

Indeed ye look forward to a Saturday, a new ground, new acquaintances and new bar(s) then ye get hit wi Sunday church times.

Good enough incomes for the home sides but can certainly be an inconvenience for the fans that turn up week in week oot.

Really sad to see Lothian go. Hutchie Vale can push on with trying to tell everyone they invented the game.

From the outside looking in it looks as if they couldn't wait till he'd (Tom) gone.

A bit of an insult really.

To be fair Longtime there are lot of attitudes like similar to yours about west teams and I’m kinda similar in your thinking of this as well and understandably so due to the past few years but there are a few who want to win promotion and when they do, it will be a domino effect as the ones who want to stay will be left with teams who are weaker so I could see their attitudes changing.

The teams that I believe who want to go up are Pollok, Darvel, Clydebank, Kilwinning, Irvine Meadow and the rest unsure of, but that’s not me staying the others done wanna go up, I’m just unsure.

I ain’t going to say that any team relegated this season and beyond from the Lowland into the EOSFL will automatically be relegated from the premier league, some will find that is their level, some might drop lower,

Beith would've gave a good account in the play off last season surely ?

Just a pity some West clubs are behind the East for licensing at the minute.
