Not bad going for a fanbase of a couple of hundred regulars.
Ross County pumped Rangers today wi a tiny fraction of fans of what Rangers get.
Football is won on the park no the terraces, good luck to E.K they've proved they have been the best side this season.
Rather see them win it than the 'B' teams so it's a girfuy to them.

Train in kilwinning
Thank you.
That's still a good bit travel away from Stair Park.
Plenty non league sides in Kilwinning area.
Berwick were similar I think when they went down.
Couldn't attract players due to the rise of Bonnyrigg Edin City Spartans et al.

I've sort of made peace with us going down after today, feels inevitable and maybe the Lowland League will be an interesting change - minus the B Team shambles - and a chance to reset.
Our relegation feels inevitable at some point (probably this year) so why not pull out the stops to postpone it for another year at least.
Come on Stranraer.
The LL would be a disaster for Stranraer.
The whole player structure would change.
Do you still train away from the area?
Players are not going to travel for non league football when they can get it on their doorstep?
Best of luck in your quest to stay up.

Stenhousemuir have massive say in who stays up. Got all 3 to play and now in holiday mode?

Berwick Rangers had a reserve side in the EoSFL for years.

Fantastic league this and imo,the most competitive in the EoSFL.
Yes been a bit of a struggle for Whitehill this season, could've done with a bit more consistency unlucky wi injuries yet knocked 4th in the Premier Hutchison Vale out the league cup on Saturday.

I skipped past a few posts but the answer to this question is that you can still pick up a ticket from the ticket off. A noticed a few people come in at about 30 minutes into the game and the 4 of them had paper tickets. I have no idea if their lateness and the tickets are linked though.
1 hour ago, Skyline Drifter said:Given Tuesday wasn't a sell out, were they actually selling paper tickets on the night? As well as potentially printing for those who couldn't sort it themselves.
There's a £1 booking fee charge if you buy a ticket on the app for yer mates. Thats a rip off. They're already paying more than the SSC member for a ticket.

If the appointment is going down the “local jobs for local people” route, here’s the Wiki list of ex-footballers who were schooled at Lasswade HS:
Gary Locke (ex Hearts). Seen on average five times daily by anybody who ever visits Bonnyrigg. He’s everywhere.
Gary Mason (ex Dunfermline). Don’t remember him.
Gary Naysmith (ex Hearts). Might he want to leave Stenhousemuir so he can get to Dani’s chippy or Gigi’s quicker on a Saturday night?
All of them are called Gary, there must be something in that.
Oh, it says Steven Whittaker too. He’s not called Gary, so he’s out. Although I’d heard he was from Peebles. Don’t trust Wiki, or me, on this.
There’s also ex Hibs goalie Graeme Smith who lives in Bonnyrigg next door to my pal. (Very close to being a Gary.)
Then there’s David Gray (anagram of Gary) who I believe grew up in Roslin, which is just a short but terrifying drive through Polton Road brae away from Bonnyrigg.
What do we take from this? The next manager is called Gary. Just you wait and see…
Wasn't to be.....

Population wise 2001-21:
Bonnyrigg +27%
Dalkeith +29%
Penicuik +8%
Rosewell +78%It’s official: Dalkeith is boomier than Boomtown Bonnyrigg, but Rosewell is boomier still.
Will be one big joined up place wi Rosewell soon enough.
Anyway good luck to the new lad gonnae have to come oot the traps flying though.
Could be a shrewd bit business by Cowdenbeath getting compo for Elliot then announce Horn.

Are these any more cringeworthy than Jam Tarts, Hibees, Killie, Dons, Buddies, Pars, Bairns, Spiders, Doonhamers, Wasps? (I could go on!)
It’s just a nickname, it’s meaningless.
I don’t know the derivation of Boomtown, but I do know it has been used in the town for 20 or more years.
Ok Rosey Posey it is.
I suppose a Posey could refer to the Rose flower.
It's no meaningless when it's in the songbook though.
And yes Boomtown has been mentioned for years but is it any Boomier than Penicuik or Dalkeith.
Each to their own I suppose.

I don’t know the guy’s career but be good for Boomtown if he can keep them in the league and a few teams will think the same as they take good numbers to away games
Nothing against Bonnyrigg but find "Boomtown" and "Rosey Posey"a bit cringeworthy.
Anybody any ideas what they actually represent

Be disappointed if Calum goes, could kind of understand if he wanted to take on the challenge of keeping Bonnyrigg up.
If it’s the case, better now than deciding in June or July wants to move on.
Yer team sitting 11th in a league below the SPFL.
Is that acceptable and why would a team want to bring in a manager from a team mid table below them?
Is he that good?

If true from Cowdenbeath to Bonnyrigg. Some of the Cowdenbeath fans on their forum are wanting rid of him anyway.

That's the word on the street and some of you want rid of him. A wee bit compo for him and yer laughing all the way to the bank

It’s a bold call making the move to pull the trigger on Robbie Horn’s time at the club unless they have someone already lined up?
The problem is, who wants to take charge of a side in serious decline and likely to drop out the SPFL?
Bonnyrigg absolutely need to get someone who knows League 2 football and not some EoS jobber. I’d say that would rule out John Hughes - plus I don’t think he’d take the job.
Who else would be in contention; Greig McDonald, Stevie Crawford (having left Rosyth), Alan Maybury or it is time for ‘Duffyball’ with Jim Duffy?
Alternatively, Gary Locke would be box office stuff. Emergency Loan from Hearts’ Gorgie Suite until the summer.
Gary Jardine........

Yes absolute morons do. And usually it comes from the sort of obese idiot who has never played football or any other sport that extends beyond skulling pints, because if they had they would know that the sight of a stretcher and medical staff on a pitch is generally a sign that there is a serious situation and it upsets players.
Which one....
