  1. You're clearly a massive Radiohead fan. Not that the song title matters in any way but in terms of Oasis I've always liked: The Importance of Being Idle Guess God Thinks I'm Abel (word play and everything!) Headshrinker Mucky Fingers Champagne Supernova Eyeball Tickler Round Are Way f**k... I could go on. There's plenty of cheese in there as well but of all the things to slag Oasis for, song titles is pretty weak imo.
  2. Very soon a transfer embargo kicks in that means we will start next season (in Div 2 or SPL2 or whatever) with exactly the same players we have to start this season. We have ambitions of going above the level of the van drivers, brick layers and plumbers.
  3. Should the governing bodies really be selling the television rights to watch Rangers in the SFL when we've not even been granted a license yet? Perhaps we weren't the only ones presuming that we'd have a license by now, feel for Kelty Hearts though - hope the game goes ahead at some point and they aren't out of pocket too much.
  4. Lads, the banter is taking a turn for the worst - please pick it up a bit. I mean, obviously being a Ger this thread makes for pretty depressing reading. However, there's a difference between ripped apart by a knowledgeable and witty person and just down right shit banter that I'd make fun of people in real life for. Pick it up, please.

    Didn't expect a lot but that's hilarious
  6. As an outsider, I can't see a thing to like about Hearts. Or Aberdeen. Or _______ Y'see?
  7. In a way I'm actually glad all this has happened. I have no doubt my club (yeah, I know it's dead) will continue playing football in the coming years and decades and will probably get a helping hand getting back to the top again, if we're honest. I'm excited about the new teams to play, new stadiums, new trophies to win, leagues... It had got to the point in the SPL where I looked forward to a Celtic loss more than a Rangers win due to the infrequency of them... That's not competitive football. I'm sorry about the way it has all happened. Ashamed of Rangers actually. Rangers have always had a lot to be proud of and a lot to be ashamed of but the tax dodging is worse than the likes of Manchester or bigoted songs. It was done with an arrogance that deserves to be brought down to where it is now . I don't want Rangers to just get promoted through the SFL and then get back to competing with Celtic year after boring year for the SPL title though, I'd love a complete reshake of the Scottish game. If clubs are going to go bust or have to make cut backs because of lack of tv deals or whatever then we need to accomodate for that. What would the clubs do if they couldn't afford players? They'd take a lonnnggg fucking hard look at their youth system. They all would. Nothing would change overnight but if we had a dozen or so teams in the country with strong youth academies producing top talent then I'd be a lot happier with that, rather than trying to buy foreigners in and pyramidically (is that a word?) cherry-picking talent that actually comes along for the top teams. I don't know, I genuinely don't know enough about the infrastructure of football to know what I want happening. All I know is I want our football to change. It will this coming season, but will it really be all that different in the end? With Regan and his cronies clinging onto every last bit of crumbs that Sky throws their way? f**k it, it's better than most pre-seasons in terms of interest!
  8. Look, what exactly do you expect Rangers fans to do?? "OHHH, you know what? See that club I've supported all my life of which 99% of it's employees are innocent of wrong doing? I'm going to stop supporting them 'cause David Murray and Craig White are a couple of crooks" Rangers' accounts and dealings were scrutinised VERY heavily in the last few months, and a lot of the players and such are clearly guilty of accepting payments in methods that are unlawful, do you think that we are the only club to have done that? Football is currupt as f**k and not a team in the world has played by the rules at all times. I'm not saying it's right, and from what it looks like Rangers were involved in quite a lot of dodgy dealings but it's the actions of individuals within the club. You can't exactly just 'turn off' your liking towards your favourite football team. Am I ashamed of the things Rangers did in the last 20 years or so? Of course. Am I going to stop supporting them or apologise for the actions of individuals within the club? Will I f**k. So what do you expect decent Rangers fans to do in this situation???

  10. If I care more, I'd split that post up into quotes, but on every point you made the same question applies: How do you know this? Or are you just being presumptuous? Ibrox is in 'dire' need of maintenance is it? Who have HMRC sent the dogs in for? As far as I knew Rangers were liquidated. You know as much about this as I do, which is exactly what I've read in the media. Going by all the different articles I've read, 1st division seems like the most likely outcome.
  11. Everyone is being presumptuous about our situation, none more so than the folk in this thread. Going by what Sky are saying, I'd say a compromise with Rangers playing in the 1st division next season looks like the most likely outcome. As for the other people who replied to me, you're all very funny - well done.
  12. You know what, the worst case scenario has happened already. Rangers have been liquidated. And all that looks like is going to happen is that there will now be another tedious 'you've got no history/we've got history' argument that can be had a squibillion times all around the country and we'll play in the first division for a year. The people that think The Rangers are suddenly going to be minnows of Scottish football are going to be very disappointed I reckon.

    Breaking Bad

Am I the only one that didn't think this was amazing? Only watched the first 8 episodes, granted, but i'd say it was good at best. Few exciting scenes etc but a lot of cliche'd nonsense and poor dialgoue. Again, i know eight episodes isnt enough to judge a whole series but they didn't make me want to keep on watching, which was their job.

    Breaking Bad

It's taken me about six months to watch the first 8 episodes of this or something. Everyone I know who's watched it thinks very highly and generally implore me to watch it but it just all seems a bit cliché and cheesy to me? I'm sure the show grows and develops but half the scenes I'm watching I know what's going to happen before it even finishes. The first episode was great, but I've enjoyed it less and less with every following one.
  15. Sheldon and a few other elements of the show are bit funny, the jokes in it are terrible. Especially Raj, every line he says is just done in most cheesy and shite way. I honestly think people of mid level intelligence watch it to make themselves feel a bit smarter.
  16. I don't ever remember giving my blessing to anyone at Rangers to illegally not pay their taxes, don't know if you'll find many who did mate.
  17. I wish I was as much of an expert on administration, liquidation, HMRC legality, PAYE tax & Craig Whyte as everyone else in Scotland seems to be at the moment, unfortunately I know f**k all about most of it other than what I've read in the newspapers so I've been keeping my comments to the minimum on the matter. Just 30 seconds ago I watched a comment from Neil Lennon that went to the effect of "I have much sympathy for my counterpart, Ally, and what he's having to deal with, particularly in his first season as manager. But as for the rest of them? The ones that brought this on? No sympathy whatsoever." That, almost, sums up my feelings on the matter. I hope whoever brought this on my club is held accountable in a court of law and not just in their wallet, all of the blameless staff, the fans and like it or not the whole of Scottish football does not deserve to have this brought upon it on the back of actions of a few greedy individuals. Still, it's Rangers though - despite my worries I'm about 99.999% sure that we'll still be battling for the title in the years to come - maybe it's Celtic's turn for a 3 in a row, but we'll be back at the top again some time soon.

I'm so jealous of you two, you have no idea the joy that awaits you.
  19. I am willing to offer a genuine £10 reward to anyone who finds me the song I was speaking about. It's not much, but a tenner's a tenner. Paypal will be payment method if it's suitable for the absolute fucking hero that puts me out of my year-and-a-half long misery. NB - I have blown all my current wage in Amsterdam last weekend and the winner shall receive their payment after the last working day of this month.
