  1. Slicker looks much improved recently from when I've seen him for Scotland youth teams in the past. Would be good for him to get regular football somewhere.
  2. Wales games must be shown with Welsh commentary. Viaplay can't be arsed doing it so they subcontract it out to S4C. There's no such requirement for Scotland games to be broadcast in any other language so no need for Viaplay to do the same.
  3. and in the bigger shock of the night Northern Ireland are holding Denmark 0-0 too.
  4. For those who were wondering how it would work for SSC members under 16 the German FA have explained it as part of this article for their members. via google translate So you'll be able to buy the tickets for any u16s on your own UEFA account.
  5. You're right to assume. Other than Germany who are allocated A1 as hosts every other team drawn out will then be drawn again to be allocated a random place within their group.
  6. Welsh one will be on S4C but the rest will be Viaplay.
  7. Yes they would so would be playing Poland rather than Wales.
  8. Mine was wrong years ago and they fixed it, heard they're a bit more of a pain in the arse about it now though.
  9. As @craigkillie said I think that was just bookings being wiped rather than suspensions from a booking in the final game. Joe Morrell was suspended for Wales semi final v Austria. The UEFA articles linked as the source in the wiki article don't mention specifically about suspensions from the final qualifier so I think he's out. Section IX - https://documents.uefa.com/r/Regulations-of-the-UEFA-European-Football-Championship-2022-24/Article-53-UEFA-Disciplinary-Regulations-Online
  10. Kvaratskhelia picked up his 3rd booking of the qualifiers in their meaningless match v Spain and the euro 2024 qualifiers wiki which I accept isn't the best source suggests that means he'll be suspended for their playoff semi final which would be very funny.
  11. Probably helps McGinn in getting the nod on penalties that Austin MacPhee is also at Villa with him working on them according to McGinn's post match interview. The thing that might harm him with goals over the next couple of years is our level of opposition will be getting better. Nations League group A will be much tougher plus the qualifiers reducing to groups of 4 and 5 from 5 and 6 possibly means less games v minnows and any friendlies arranged to replace the number of qualifiers I suspect won't be against the likes of San Marino.
  12. That's Norway eliminated from playoff contention now with tonight's results.
  13. Glad Breen is now miserable after being amazed Shane Duffy didn't reach double figures in Scotland because Scottish football wasn't good enough for him
  14. It's not better content as it's simply not true.
  15. Just recovered after getting 2 and a half hours sleep between full time and last night, those early hours flights out of Tbilisi are murder. Great city to visit, people are lovely with the exception of their version of wee neds who tried to attack the away end at full time and got a doing by the local police, I got pelted an absolute belter with a bottle. Not much to add on the game but surprised there was any criticism on McLean from my quick skim of the thread but see plenty defending him, he looked composed and done well in both his roles from what I could see, especially when combining with Armstrong after Taylor went off.
  16. u21s 2-0 up away at Belgium half an hour in. Live on youtube.
  17. They definitely sent an email about this last time round and I've already seen a few people elsewhere ask the same question so although I have no answer id expect something from the SFA to advise you before any sale starts. Top 9k, same as any away game and same as euro 2020.
  18. Other than Germany being pot 1 and A1 the numbers for the groups don't correspond with the pots at all so Scotland could be E3 or E4 but be in pot 1 or 2.
  19. ETA - for some reason when I posted originally it posted the squad tweet again so in case it does it again tickets on sale for Norway Friday at 10am.
  20. I might be a bit off on his exact wording but I remember part of Marshall's reasons for retiring was he didn't want to be the one standing in the way of the younger keepers getting their opportunity. If that's the case even if he was the best player on merit which is debatable anyway I can't see him agreeing to come back for these 2 games, especially when we've already qualified.
  21. I think the difference now is the SFA can be fairly confident about getting a good crowd for near enough any game at Hampden rather than taking a fee for games like that which might make them less likely. Back around the time of Brazil at the Emirates we were getting under 20k for a friendly v Denmark which I can't see happening right now. I'm hoping we're at home to anyone for now. If we are away then I hope cost and convenience are taken into account and we don't end up on the Syrian border again.
  22. The playoff semi final losers from each path play each other in the 2nd game in March so our opponents won't be a case of waiting on who gets knocked out. All the South American teams are set to be based in Europe in March for friendlies so that's a possibility. Sweden would be ideal, underperforming potentially overranked team who will have a new manager wanting to try things out. Same maybe with Poland if they lose out albeit we've played them fairly recently.
  23. At least it definitely won't be England again in March. They've announced they are playing Brazil and Belgium. We can also rule out Brazil as they are playing Spain too.
