Did any older readers have a flyaway ball with team names on in the 70s? Of course you did. I’ve been searching the web for any info, I don’t even want to buy one just a photo would do. I’m picturing a classic black and white hexagons/pentagons ball in top quality plastic, with a Scottish team name printed in each white space and some kind of made up logo on the top. Any leads? Does any lucky person still have one tucked away? I searched for at least 10 minutes with no luck, just loads of photos of the more recent tele ball, and the classic Wembley stinger

This, aka the cake slicing thing is an interesting point. I suspect no-one on here knows. You could be right in what you imply. It could also be that to the SFA, the sums involved are pretty trivial, and expanding the cake would scarcely register on the balance sheet. We’ll certainly see in due course.
