What a pleasant change that was. Nice move for the first goal and exactly what Morton fans predicted for the second. Elgin have been pish though.

The fact they dont even word the statement to say they understand it's a frustrating time for everyone and fans are allowed to express their frustrations but some things are going too far/personal shows they don't think things through, don't think about how they come across as a board, and (as we already knew) have no idea how to communicate with their fan base.

So predictable when McDonald came on. He probably deserved to be released in the summer but with the way we've signed, we haven't replaced him with better options.

Didn't even create a half chance in the whole second half. Absolutely pathetic.

We started brightly but haven't kept the ball at all since the first 15-20 minutes. Once Peterhead settled they've been comfortable without being brilliant. Mulvanny offers nothing up front except headless chicken running, he's not even clever about when to chase things. Scullion did well to create the goal but offers nothing when we don't have it as well as giving the ball away too easily when we do. I hope Carswell still isn't fit as that half completely passed him by.

Not a bad line up considering and an actual central midfield which we didn't have midweek. Still hard to see where goals will come from though.

That's a very good start. It was a joke Duffy was appointed in the first place let alone kept on. The statement is pish but I don't care much about that. It doesn't come close to solving all our issues but it's a step in the right direction. I don't have any faith in McLean unfortunately but at least he'll have a chance to do his own thing now.
