I’m just going by Doolan saying he wants to bring one more defender in. We’ve only got 4 (but like I say, that’s not counting Stevenson and especially MacKenzie who would appear to be versatile enough to cover full back positions). -

Going into the season with 5 recognised defenders is a bit of a gamble. MacKenzie as cover for RB (and LB? Or Stevenson? Not too familiar with his game). Would’ve liked to have seen two more defenders and one more midfielder. -

Adeloye would be a decent signing. 2 defenders, 1 midfielder and 1 attacker is the absolute minimum we need in for the season. -

He’s not. We signed him after he left Dundee United in 2014. -

I think our budget isn’t as bad as people think. We basically over budgeted by a long way last season - lost circa £250k and that’s with the Rangers cup game. So our budget has obviously been reduced for this season. But The Jags Foundation have committed fresh money - a one-off £50k and monthly £10k donations. And we’ve announced new sponsorship deals (stadium naming rights for example) which are hopefully bringing in more than last season. So it’s not entirely obvious what our new budget is - it’s probably a case of going from 2nd highest budget last season to 4th or 5th. -

I would assume there would be no compensation due because he turns 23 tomorrow. -

I’d say we need another 6. 3 defenders, 2 midfielders, 1 attacker IMO. -

Dundee's Next Permanent Manager
Slacker replied to Ludo*1's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
He’s on 24 now so the 12 goals in 10 isn’t as relevant in the argument as you think it is. He got to 20 before the split. Footballer who scores 20+ goals and doesn’t challenge near the top doesn’t count because he doesn’t score them exactly when you consider the optimal time of the season to score goals. -

You’ve literally just shown how van Veen is a ‘real example’ of this. -

My day-to-day crisp would be Doritos. However, this was my favourite by a mile but I've just learned it's been discontinued. GBNF.

I really miss the Snow Flake and the Wispa Mint. My post in the top fives forum back in 2018 listed: Twirl, Snickers, Galaxy Caramel, Terry’s Chocolate Orange bar, Creme Egg These days I'd probably swap in Wispa Gold and Caramilk for Galaxy Caramel and Terry's Chocolate Orange bar.

Decided to just watch the Bucs-Raiders game on Sky instead of finding a stream for the Dolphins, but once they gave the update that the Dolphins had tied it I had to scramble for one. What a comeback, delighted for Tua. Some crazy stats:

That’s so good from Mahomes. So many adverts when there’s no Neil Reynolds in the studio to go to. Not helping in my fight against sleep.

Dolphins got the job done but it wasn't a great performance. Offensive line still looks questionable and Tua had a couple of dodgy throws, but we didn't allow any turnovers and made some key plays (4th and 7, lovely stuff), so can't really complain.

Poor throw, it’s getting a little scrappy out there. I’ve just stuck a few quid on Singletary next touchdown.
