I love St Mirren and go whenever possible to see games ( I've seen every SPL team this season apart from Rangers and Celtic) - probably spend too much money/spare time following them. If, however it got to the stage where there was any sectarian singing, (never mind over 70% of the crowd participating from St Mirren fans, I'm afraid I'd chuck it. Your club is vile - too many of it's supporters are vile - I'm sorry for it's employees that look like losing their jobs in these times - but I hope by the time next season starts that it no longer exists.

Even If Rangers survive in the some form in the SPL, I can see crowds returning to 1986 levels. Maybe there might be a "No surrender" bit of resilience for next season, but with no chance of winning the league, and getting regular humpings from the likes of Ross County, etc, they will dwindle to previous levels. Getting even a squad of the quality of the pre-Souness era see the link provided, where they had some decent players like Cooper, Durrant, and McCoist will not be possible. Next year, their budget might not even stretch to a Kirk Broadfoot. Selling 35000 season tickets at £500 a pop will not happen.

Any truth in the rumour that the only rason the soapdodgers are doing so well this season is that they've sold the stand that the Saints gifted them for scrap, and are spunking all that money away on wages that they otherwise couldn't afford, forgetting that .. if you get lucky, to get into the SPL, you'll need to erm... build a new stand?????
