Out Of The Furnace
Bit of a slow burning drama but enjoyable all the same. All star cast of Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Forrest Whittaker, Willem Dafoe, Zoe Saldana and the magnificent Woody Harrelson
Fruitvale Station
Based on a true story of an ex-con trying to get his life back together and fix relationships with his girlfriend, daughter and mum. Tragic ending however
Runner Runner
Decent enough film with Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck. Revolves around the cut-throat world of online gambling
Riddick
I really enjoyed this but im biased as i love the Riddick films. Similar to Pitch Black rather than Chronicles Of Riddick
How about a series finale of Walt hitting the deck as the bullets flew from the car, jesse sussing that something was up so did the same and them both getting up armed with a gun pointing at each other as the police lights approach in the background before the screen goes black? I liked the true ending but cant help feeling that one of the two characters shouldve ended the other one
Have to disagree with you OP. Ive watched all of the above and whilst i rate them in my top 5 off all time (the other being The Shield), Breaking Bad is definitely the better programme
Close to tears here. Devastated that its all over now. The flashback to the party scene had me welled up as well. Great show and terrific memories. Can see all tv shows in the near future, failing miserably as i will always use Breaking Bad as a yardstick
As long as there's extended scenes involving Tyrion Lannister, I will be happy. Absolute legend. Star of the show by a country mile despite being only half a person!
The support I caught the end of in Aberdeen was a band called The Bastille who looked decent. Two door cinema club were excellent. Battered through most of their two albums and the place was jumping. Also had a good stage show ie strobes, massive balloons falling from the ceiling etc. If they keep these sort of live performances up with the amount of catchy tunes they possess, they could be absolutely massive in a stadium band sort of way. A good TITP performance will only enhance an already growing reputation as being the best of an upcoming bunch
Just in from Mumford and Sons at Dundees Caird Hall. Absolutely terrific gig. What a sensational sound in a usually poor acoustic venue. Some of the stuff was spine tingling
