I put his post match comments down to him being annoyed and disappointed at the result. I’d like to think once he went home and watched the game back, he’d realise we were miles off it.

Even the penalty that was given, although it wasn’t exactly a stonewaller, his reaction was a bit over the top.

I'd like to think he's realised that he messed up big time.

It's quite easy to see how Airdrie bottled the play offs with him in charge.

Given our real inability to take advantage of Utd slip ups, I'm still a bit doubtful over our credentials to get ourselves over the line.  If we were to beat Utd then win the game in hand then I'd say we are a decent bet, but in reality I think it's going to be too close to call.

The speed at which we went from absolutely cruising to being 3-2 down to that god awful Arbroath side really does make it difficult to be too buoyant yet.

Especially given the game in hand is against Airdrie...

I don’t agree with the point of view that there’s no pressure on our players.
We’ve got ourselves into the position where we are very close to a league title and it is in our hands.
The players (especially the ones who have never won any honours before) will definitely feel the pressure, especially at Tannadice as a win there puts us two points clear with a game in hand.

There will of course be more pressure on United with the expectations their fanbase and large budget bring, but I don’t think our players are going out there with the ‘free hit’ carefree attitude.

Yep. There's a difference in fan expectations but for a lot of our squad this might be their only/last realistic shot at winning this league. They'll be feeling that.

Bob safely in for the weekend on Even par, but only 6 shots off the lead with not many low scores today.

Plenty big names missing the weekend including Speith, Harman, Finau and Burns.

Probably the tightest field I've seen for a long time.

They'll open the other blocks sporadically, in the most tinpot way imaginable.

It would be nice if they give us a heads up. It's pretty rubbish that being able to secure tickets for a game like this might come down to just happening to check their website at the right time.

  6. I don't think there is anything wrong with the prices. This is money going straight to Vaughan not the club so I don't think allowing free entry was ever an option.

If folk don't have time to go or don't want to watch a kickabout buy a ticket anyway if you can afford it. If you can't afford the £15, maybe buy a £5 ticket if you can afford it.
