Step away from the keyboard. You are clearly delusional

2nd place is our highest spot in years and years. Not sure that is “nowhere”

I read an Airdrie fan saying they got good results in spite of Murray rather than because of him. I think that's probably the case with us. Potter has gone and recruited well but there's no chance Murray has gotten the most out of the resources he has.

He'll be sacked by Christmas thankfully.

Couldn’t find fault in any Airdrie player but not sure what the slow short bye kicks is all about. Easily been better than us in our matches this season and are decent to watch them pass the ball along the deck.
Most Rovers fans appeared pleased that we started the same 11 from Saturday but when it wasn’t working some of those same fans become keyboard Pep Guardiolas and say it was the wrong starting 11!

I thought McGill was excellent when he came on and looks to push forward from full back, can pass and can beat a man. Earned a start next game for me although I thought James Brown had a decent performance. Callum Smith too was positive earned pass marks.

great finishes from Airdrie and anyone blaming Dabrowski needs their eyes tested.

second in the league, miles ahead of the Pars and some still unhappy.

We have had a last minute panenka penalty, gullan scoring at inversneckie, Scott browns wonder strike, some Easton magic, Lewis Vaughan back scoring goals, great saves from big Kev, the 4-3 Patrick match, some magical Murrayball  moments and even a worldie against us by a sub goalie. How can you not say this has been a great season to be a Rovers fan?

You keep kidding yourself. We're going nowhere with Murray in charge.

Don't know if I wholly agree but it's not actually daft- second half of 2015/16 we were practically title contender form

Yeah that's the season I was thinking of. I know it was only really half a season but the level of opposition in the league was miles higher that season. That team would beat the current one.

I also think the team that finished 3rd in the closed doors season was a better team to watch than this season's. We've had the excitement of the late goals and suchlike, but I really don't think we play much in the way of good football.

Watched the stream till literally 10 seconds before Lewis scored as I was heading out for N/S.

Frizz's 2 goals came from the defence backing off, fear of what big Nico would do or underestimating Frizz, it's hard to say but one person who can't be blamed is the keeper.

2nd half I don't think Rovers resurgence was down to Murray's tactical 3 subs, I think it was down to us pulling our midfield from their high line that caused all the problems 1st half, we did the same in the last game with Ayr and got punished, could've been the same tonight.

Haven't see Lewis' goal yet but the other 3 were belters.

Friday is massive for us as well as Saturday, Utd win and we beat Dunfermline then GD makes the playoffs almost certain.

Hopefully plenty to celebrate in hospitality on Saturday.

    Good luck for Saturday 👍

Completely made up.  Brought up in Murray's post match interview that Vaughan's been struggling lately and not been able to train properly.

I don't waste my time listening to Murray's drivel so hadn't seen that. That's reassuring although not sure why he was even on the bench if he couldn't even be used in the most dire of situations.

After the Millen incident it wasn't that wild an assumption.

  6. Now that it is basically confirmed we'll be in the Championship next season, who do we look to hold on to and who do we let go?

Of the out of contract players I would keep McNeil as a back up GK and Matthews. Not fussed about retaining any of the others, including Easton.

None of the loan players are worth pursuing for next season either.

Now the guys we have out on loan who are out of contract (all except Hannah I think?). Bin them all.

There will no doubt be one or two under contract players who move on too. If Euan Murray could be moved on that would be worth considering, while Connolly is another who might be worth cutting loose if we can find any takers.

If Vaughan has fallen out with Murray his time could be up too unfortunately.

  7. Lose on Saturday and there's a decent chance that we'll finish 3rd and play Airdrie first up in the playoffs. We all know how that will end.

Murray still has lots to prove. I've seen nothing to suggest he's any more than an average manager at best and his squad building is all over the place. I certainly wouldn't trust him with next season's budget.

  8. To be so far ahead in 2nd despite having managed not even one convincing league win all season is freakish.

I think there's definitely something to be said about the standard of the league, which is absolutely abysmal.

All in all, it's about the least impressive title challenge I can think of in terms of performance levels, with the highlights all being late winners rather than comprehensive victories or performances.
