Are Chelsea aware you can only have 11 guys on the pitch at a time?
I can only assume that because they're level on points with Liverpool halfway through the season that they've gotten confused and think they are in a title race.

Harrison Ashby linked with Newcastle the other day also.

(or until they sell out)

A couple of things about the game not related to our set piece defending and inability to hold on to a lead, wasn't it great to see Vaughan celebrating a goal in front of the South Stand again? And full marks for the choice of music at full time.

BBC's decision to use only 3 cameras coming back to bite them.

Millen Lang and Dick were horrendous yesterday, that was merely in the first half. That set a precedent in a way. Losing the possession in defence gave Inverness impetus to push forward. Inverness for me are an average team. Why we seem to capitulate so easily boggles the mind. Our total failure to defend set pieces lies squarely at Murray, for a guy that’s career was as a defender clearly isn’t getting his point across or his players aren’t willing or good enough to adhere the message.
Were you actually at the game? Because in an earlier post you were asking if Masson was playing (he wasn't) but now you're passing judgement on the performances of three of our back four.

I think that match really sums us up.
Between each 18 yard box we're probably as good as anyone in the league but despite all our good football, we really struggle to carve out clearcut chances. I think other than the goals there was only the Gullan header in the first half and then the one cleared off the line in the second half.
Meanwhile we consistently give away the sort of cheap goals from set pieces that we can never score ourselves.
Very frustrating, but still some optimism that we aren't far away from getting it right.

That’s now 32 games against Inverness since the last win. 9 draws and 23 defeats.
Two penalty shoot out wins though...

I’m just astonished that we’ve actually managed to sign “that guy” from the Canadian miss…which actually happened in his last outing for his Canadian club (Valor FC). He’s played most forward roles at various points, but seems a CF or RW…I guess we’ll see him at striker/target, so we’ll see if he can hit the net now.
Oh god it's not him is it?

He wasn’t that bad. We’ll always have his long throw and his goals against Ayr and Partick (think it was them).
Good luck to the boy.
He wasn't championship level but he could probably do a turn for the Dunfermlines and Falkirks of this world.

Forest Green have appointed Duncan Ferguson as manager.

Hoping that the reason he hasn't come to us is because we have something better in the pipeline rather than us not having the budget for him.

Martin Nelson for half time guest please. Or if he's not available, at least somebody who played in the 4-1 match.

I look forward to the day he manages Dunfermline to an embarrassing Scottish Cup exit at Stark's and then follows it up with 5 goal thrashing at Stark's and a play off defeat in the same season.

Is he not doing too well this season then?

I think they and Motherwell are the only teams we haven't beaten in the last 20 years.
What an opportunity we have here to address that!
Lets hope it goes a bit better than the couple of attempts we've had already this season...

There's no chance Tumilty will be coming back to us.
