As abject a first half performance as we've seen in a while. Really annoyed at the manner of goals we lost. Felt the team lacked confidence and I don't know if it came from the two early balls Dennis doesn't come for. Where we're normally solid we just seemed shaky, and the two goals were pathetic - corners where the other team just showed more desire and alertness to pounce on balls in the box.

Felt half-time was a bit doom and gloom from everyone, summed up the team being booed off. Don't get me wrong, I had a couple of negative shouts myself and it definitely wasn't good. But my pal was texting me saying we'd been shite for a while now, and that sort of revisionism was rife around me (the squad isn't as good as we thought it was at the end of Jan) - we don't have to go back far at all for great performances vs Rangers, Aberdeen and Celtic, and a good result against Livi. I felt we just needed to stay calm and back the team in the middle of a wobble. Two poor games followed by a poor half of football - but I did feel McInnes could right us at HT.

Couldn't believe Vassell came back out. I'd spent all first half moaning about how overdue he was a spell out the team. Spent so much time today rolling about, captured beautifully when he fell over at a ball he should have won, spent too long on the ground, then gave away a foul getting back up.

I wonder if Derek took him aside and told him we needed a BIG captain's performance from him. Go lead by example and drag us back in to. Christ, it was like someone had stuck rocket fuel up his arse. He was tremendous second half, a proper captain.

We were growing back in to it but nothing seemed to be coming off - Armstrong and Watkins both good chances to score. Felt it might not be our day, but said to my dad around 55-60 mins, we need to score now so we've time to get back in to it.

Well, after getting our first, we just went for it hell for leather, and St Mirren just collapsed. Vass shows good determination for the first. Watkins wins the pen brilliantly and it was an interesting contest between someone who never seems to miss pens, vs a keeper and ex teammate who we've seen save so many. The third one is the one that kills it for the Saints for me, a cracking big header and I wonder when we see it back if Hemming feels he sold the jerseys at that point - maybe I'm being harsh but I was surprised and delighted it ended up in the net. Superb goal from big Vass for the fourth. Then David Watson, the boy who only scores tremendous goals, pops up with goal of the season.

This moment, when that thug Gogic gets absolutely done, *chef's kiss*

Watching Skyfall again and I do love it. The dialogue involving M is superb, the music is the best in movie music since You Only Live Twice and some of the action scenes are fantastic.

The dialogue between Bond and Moneypenny is fucking atrocious though. Painfully banal.

Naomi Harris is fucking stunning as Moneypenny and Javier Bardem is a superb baddie.

It's a fine film, made even better on retrospect after the utter shite that was both Spectre and the other recent one whose name I forget.

I'm over visiting my parents this week and went to Glen Coe for a couple of nights, I made a playlist that included Skyfall and the Bond theme had it blasting out as I drove through the glen, unfortunately I was driving a rental Citroen and not an Aston Martin.

There was a bizarre incident - must have been mistaken identity - where I was positive KVV was booked twice but not seen in mentioned anywhere online so far. Anyone else notice this or able to clear up what happened?

There was a foul involving KVV and a Dundee player ( apologies don't recall who it was ) it looked like the ref booked the Dundee player but he wasn't looking then waved it again after he'd shouted him back but it did initially look like he booked both players, it wasn't until later when KVV got booked I feared we were going to have another player sent off that's when the Killie TV commentators started trying to figure out what had happened, not sure though it was rather confusing.

Aguirre, The Wrath of God - Dundee defender Joe Shaughnessy hangs up his football boots and becomes a man of the cloth, and heads to South America along with other colonisers from Spain.

During their search for the mythical El Dorado (not the wine) the conquistadors run into all sorts of bother.

Good soundtrack as well, love a bit of Popol Vuh.

    ^^^ You're a star, Stevie. 👏

Cheers mate, it was nerve wracking, I knew I couldn't just run after her so had to be smart ( very unlike me😁) there were a few folk trying to help but they were making her more nervous so I politely told them to beat it.

  7. A bit of doggy drama last night, my downstairs neighbour has a Lab mix called Bella that she got from a shelter in Curacao, she's a lovely dog but has some issues ( clearly traumatised from whatever happened in her past )

Around 7pm last night my other neighbour came to my door saying he thought he saw Bella running loose on the streets but wasn't sure it was her, I grabbed some treats and a leash and we went out - I didn't know this at the time but my neighbour was out of town for the day and had dropped Bella off with a friend, the friend collapsed in her garden the emergency services arrived and had to break down the door and Bella escaped and had been running around terrified for 2 hours.

Went out to have a look with the other neighbour but didn't see anything got back to the apartment but then decided to walk back round the block and saw her, started following her she was heading for her apartment but we live on a really busy road, she nearly got hit by a taxi then just as she got to her apartment ( I'm thinking great I've got keys I'll let her in ) an ebike delivery driver comes flying along and Bella freaked and started running up the middle of the road, it looked like she was heading straight which meant she was heading for an evening busier road so I ran behind the parked cars and cut her off and she headed onto a path near our local park, she stopped so I sat on the ground and threw a few treats then called the owner who started calling her name down the phone, Bella was just about to take a treat from my hand and I was going to loop the leash i had over her head but then a group of kids went running past, again Bella started running and again she was heading for a busy road, I jumped into a garden ran behind the hedge and cut her off and she went into the path that borders the park.

There was a woman up ahead with a sheep dog mix, I called out to see if she could grab Bella but Bella wriggled free and was heading back to the main road, then amazing things started to happen, I heard a whistle and the other woman had ran down through the bushes and appeared in front of Bella blocking her way, we slowly started closing in and then her dog started bouncing and barking at Bella as if she was herding her, I sat down and threw a few treats and Bella started moving slowly towards me then stopped just out of reach and sat down, I knew I had to be careful and not scare her but she wouldn't take her eyes off me and I knew a sudden move and she'd run, the other dog then did a bark/howl noise and Bella turned to look and I grabbed my chance slipped the leash over her head, immediately she relaxed started wagging her tail and jumped on me licking me all over, what a relief! I then thanked the woman and her dog, we walked to the end of the path just as the owner arrived in her car, she literally fell out the car to her knees in tears and my legs turned to jelly as the adrenaline wore off, it took almost 2 hours but got there in the end, got in from work about an hour ago to find a bottle of whisky and a thank you note from my neighbour.

    Dogs eh

I reckon other Scottish clubs will be after Findlay but hopefully we can get something done. Ndaba too, he's hopefully flown under the radar enough for nobody else to want him, and he doesn't seem to have a future at Ipswich.

That would be the dream scenario, they both seem to be enjoying their time at Killie.

I think he will be gone in the summer, probably Watson too. They're both on a trajectory that takes them well beyond our level.

Yeah I reckon so as well they've both gone up a level this season, I'd like to see Mayo giving it a go in Italy or Germany he's a class act, I suppose any money made on those potential moves could be used to maybe get Findlay signed permanently.

Just discovered Kenny McIntyre is a Rangers fan from Mull

    Explains a lot tbh

It's very rainjursy, I just listened to the podcast of yesterday's show it was 33 minutes long, amazing work by the production staff to squeeze the rest of the manager interviews and reaction of the other games into roughly 5 minutes.
