All over the place without McGinty organising at the back.

The beers (OK the ginger wine I won in a race night raffle cos the beers are done) are kicking in now, so memory going a wee bit. Did Ayr score 4 from outside the box? McGeady Dempsey and Rose I'm certain were but can't recall if Chalmers had cut into box

January is going to be interesting.
Attacking options wise this squad should be top half. It looks like a Raith v Dundee Utd title battle then a free for all.
Our full backs tend to get rinsed and we blame them - but Chalmers and Amartey absolutely destroyed Raiths today at times and they are still top...
Do we need 4 or 5 players based on today? Or 1 or 2 and a manager?

. I can't for the life of me figure out why they subbed Amartey, who was ripping us to bits,
This, this and a million fucking times this.

We’d win an appeal on McGintys red.
You reckon? I only saw it on the Raith TV and camera was from behind McGinty so couldn't see the contact so I assumed it was a fair enough call.

Obvious to everyone except Bullen apparently, so don't expect to see more of him.
I couldn't help but snap on the VoR twitter at the sub. He was causing chaos, Raith TV folk panicking every time he got it and couldn't believe when he came off

Is there any word on when Stanger is back? And McAllister?
Assume that's a 3 game ban for McGinty - like him or loathe him, that's a massive loss.
Morton away on 2nd January with Musonda and either McAllister or Senga at CB gives me the fear. The carnage from the long throws

It's fucking astonishing that he's got the options of Chalmers, Murphy, Dowds, McGeady, Amartey and there is a serious chance we get relegated anyway.

Amartey has had a good game
They've all been decent - been a pretty good performance - 2 horror minutes after our goal and the red then goal. Prob end up losing but played well.
Yasss what a goal

Aye take off your goal scorer, brilliant
Was him or Chalmers had to come off - makes sense to me to take off the one that's not got 90 mins in him even though McGeady had played slightly better so far

As long as Arbroath come down with us and Falkirk are one of the teams that go up we SHOULD have a title competing budget next year. That's what I'm resigned to repeating now

oh boy so who's gonna end up playing centre back along with Musonda next game Ahui? Ecrepont? Senga?
Next 3 games- Dunfermline Morton Inverness with Musonda Reading Ahui and hopefully McAllister. That's season turning stuff

Nah, not buying that

Jeeezo, Murphy not even on bench. Brutal
Edit - dunno why I'm surprised - I'd somehow forgot he went off in first half last week

Realistically it seems all we need to do is be at least 3 ahead when the clock hits 90 to get the win.

Aye a point in the right direction to the road hame
Best team in the league at home under the lights in front of a bumper crowd a couple of days before Christmas against relegation fodder - this can only point to the Super Ayr scoring early and then hanging on for a massive 3 points in front of about 50 away fans

Was pleasantly surprised how strongly we finished the game today - was expecting a backs to the wall last 10 with an inevitable equaliser conceded but we actually looked more likely to score again

Did the official attendance include the 200 police standing doing nothing? Very heavy handed.
One of the 7 of them stood outside the bogs at the exit was saying it was a very very easy shift and they knew it would be quiet cos Ayr train station was shut. Absolute nonsense the club have to pay for that shite.

Thought both much maligned full backs were excellent today

I'm sure when Steven Bell signed for us from Stranraer he even said in his signing interview that only having to travel from Glasgow to Ayr rather than Glasgow to Stranraer was a massive factor in it. So it definitely does play into the thinking at times.

We were going to win that today until they announced the man of the match and the players realised there was only 5 plus stoppage Time left, at which point its like a switch was flicked and we sat back and hung on. Its fucking bizarre.
