You know you've made the bin fire of shit shows when the main football section of the BBC website is saying it was "vile abuse" of Bullen and the club condemning it.

I don't go to away games all that often but go to all the home games and I never heard anything untoward or OTT beyond regular football chants. Seems to me that the club are deflecting failures of Mathie and Bullen onto the fans and making us all look like knuckle dragging morons

It's utterly bizarre they've decided to go down that route and make it sound like the fans have hounded out a good manager and person - every media outlet leading with that now.   That's hardly going to encourage applications unless that's the plan all along - give it internally to McGeady or something as we couldn't attract any outside interest due to how bad the fans are.

Decided to calm myself down a bit by thinking of the 60 quid or so I've saved thanks to my decision that if we won today I'd go to the Kelty and Arbroath home double header.  They can shove that so far up their arses now and I don't care who thinks that makes me not a true fan 🤣

Last nights announcement has probably cost me 60 quid or so.. not sure whether to be happy or raging 🤣

  3. Since the 4-4 draw at Raith that defo shows plucky wee Ayr will be fine despite chucking it in injury time, Arbroath with their new manager have come from 2 down there with a sub goalie scoring the equaliser and Queens Park have went there and won 2-1 despite conceding early under their new manager.

All good though, our point there shows we will definitely beat both those other sides in must win games in the next few weeks

He is fully aware he isn't under pressure and clearly doesn't think things are that bad

The board absolutely buzzing at the prospect of all of a sudden having a core of fairly competent League 1 level starters like McAllister / McKenzie / Bryden etc already at the club without having to spend any extra cash

  5. I remember going to Arbroath just after McCall left and hammering them 3-0 with a team with Kelly Moffat McCowan Forrest etc and being a joy to watch and thinking things might just be OK.

We've beat them twice in 14 attempts under 4 managers since then and look absolutely nailed on to get relegated either before them or at the same time.

I have never met anyone from Paisley or Greenock who wasn't an absolute fucking knob tbh.

For balance I'd like to say I'm married to a Greenocker who supports Morton, I've enjoyed plenty pre match pints with the Morton lads in Chaplins (even got a free pint as there was a spare season ticket going about) and back down in Ayr (especially in Hub before they embarrassed us in Ocotber) and always brand new.   They so seem quite defensive on here though 🤣

Who knows but you look at Morton and Airdrie, both pushing for fourth, and I don't see much quality in their squads either.

Morton just went to Tanandice missing their top scorer in Muirhead fresh off a hat trick v us and their best CB in Baird and won 3-2 yet we still listen to folk making excuses for our shower of shite

As mentioned before we weren’t really that bad today

Yeah - that's the almost concerning thing - lt might be enough for them to decide it might be OK - could quite easily see us on here 2 weeks on Tuesday discussing taking maybe 1 point from the double header Arbroath and maybe scraping a narrow win v Kelty in cup saying "we weren't that bad, it might still click"

  9. I keep falling into the trap of "ah he seems a decent guy in interviews" then have to check myself- the 3 facts I'm reminded of (not even considering the fitba almost always being shite)

1 - he didn't play his strongest team in a Scottish Cup QF

2 - he is playing his weaker goalkeeper despite being in a relegation battle.  That's actually a sacking offence in itself IMO.   Almost certain it's not an issue with Albionsons attitude or anything based on what I've heard (ie he's just understandably gutted at not playing, not a story as such)

3 - every other fucking ludicrous decision that gets made selection wise every week..  most recent?  Amartey - rare start then subbed early to ruin all possible momentum and probably winning at Raith then not even starting v Morton away.

Players wise we should be doing much better.  Dunfermline are ahead of us with Joe Chalmers playing every week and even captaining them at Somerset.   Morton have 4 clean sheets from 6 with Jack Baird and Kirk Broadfoot at the back and Grant Gillsespie in front of them - would have been meltdown on here if we had signed any of those 4 in the summer.

Could go on but can't be arsed. Not going on Saturday and will see for the rest of the month.

Inverness H, Arbroath H&A, Queens Park A and Kelty H while still improving the squad is some January challenge.  Get it wrong and we are absolutely fucked.
