Away team gets the ref seeing as they don't get any fans these days.
-
Nah mine was worse - I didn't even say anything. Just stood up with the arms out wide as if to show how speechless I was at his shiteness. Fortunately I fancy us to win 4-1 on Friday so no such fear to come next week

It's gonna be a nice sunny day and possibly the last time I ever see the North Terracing so I'm gonna be cans in the garden then in the Hub for opening time and probably pretty gassed by kick off. So you'll definitely hear me. Whether it's being a happy clapper or standing up with my arms wide in the air asking McAleer "what the f**k was that?" (Slightly embarrassed flashback from Firhill when sobered up) remains to be seen.

Yeah seems pretty likely we will be 5th by Saturday night. If we lose to Partick and ICT beat Cove and Hamilton then we will be 4 points adrift of 4th by this time next week. And no more games against Cove to get any wins -

Im going to Partick and making a day of it in the Woodside /Royalty / Wintergills etc with an old pal so looking forward to it. We will get destroyed though. -

The South East / London based ones might be easier to shift tbf. Let them find a club and not stand in their way -

We used a cup quarter final to rotate the squad and set up to draw a must win home league game. At least we know our place ambition wise -
Luckily we have lined up with McKenzie and Ashford on the wing so there's fucking loads of creativity to come.

Yup. I'm quite confident we will do enough on Saturday to get the win against Morton, which in turn will persuade a decent sized travelling support to head along to what will be marketed as a HUGE game at Firhill the following week. Which we will then be absolutely honking and get beat. -
We are so inconsistent it's actually becoming to look quite consistent, so this seems like a hard fought home win to me.

O'Connor and Ashford always playing 'inverted' so that O'Connor can constantly struggle to get a cross in and Ashford can offer no width and cut inside and either get tackled or shoot straight at the keeper is eye bleeding stuff -

At least we got to rotate the keepers a bit in the cup seeing as the pressure was off. -

That was piss easy for Arbroath. Embarrassingly so. -
Arbroath vs Ayr United

JML and McKenzie 2 on 1 v Little and him just standing still and taking it off them like they were a pair of 6 year olds just sums everything up. This has been absolutely pathetic from Ayr. -

Far too easy this. Arbroath letting Ayr have plenty ball and create nothing then rip us on the break. Look far more up for it too. -

If we aren't giving Little and O'brien heading practice we are hitting shots straight at them -

Our set piece delivery is awful. Whereas every Arbroath one is causing panic. Wish we could just play Cove every week. -

Aye it was after the throw in / offside one plus screaming at the ref for not stopping play and giving Reading a free kick for basically walking past the most half hearted attempt at a tackle by the Cove player you'll ever see that I had enough and went round behind the nets -
Ayr v Cove Friday night Shitefest?
Hursty replied to ryanayr1987's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Cove are down - that's them officially the only team that can't now catch us Thought we never really got out of 2nd gear, Maguire showed a couple of touches of class for his assists and if his finishing wasn't off would have got a couple of goals himself. McAllister was superb for us as I've said on our own thread, the lad seems a born leader. Albinson with one massive save when it mattered.. could we have maybe played him in the Falkirk game? Ach that's me off on a tangent. Cove were rotten. There's obv something there as they've won at Partick and only narrowly lost at Morton late on recently but that's us 11-0 against them in 2023 so I just don't see it. -

Jeez I know the name, didn't know who it was though. Horrendous. Fair play to anyone that stands there all game. -

Does anyone here stand on North Terrace about in line with the 18 yard box and constantly shout high pitched abuse at the ref for absolutely nothing BTW? Got so bad today I had to move but would be nice to put a name to a face as someone that angry has to post on here -

IF it came to it I'd fancy us over 2 legs v QP and Morton. Not v Dundee or Partick. -

Dundee to win the league I reckon. For all the rage we had at our 2nd half performance on Tuesday I was really impressed by them, sounds like they had changed formation to go 2 up and also get McCowan back in the team and unfortunately it definitely worked. IF we can go and beat Arbroath on Friday then the gap to QP is only 2. I'd expect Dundee to pump Hamilton and QP away at Raith looks a good draw. I'm quite confident of a playoff spot. Dipo as he has tweeted has now scored in 5 of his last 6 and is back to looking like scoring every week - that's huge.
