  1. Ayr United have appointed countless managers who were fresh faced and up and coming - the majority end in failure. What have Brown and the like achieved as managers that makes them so appetising? As for Bowyer, I'm certain he isn't coming.
  2. Can you please let Smith know that we want Sir Ian McCall back and not Scott bloody Brown? Ah-thank-ye.
  3. I fear for our next appointment, no way in suffering f**k do i want some of the names I've seen banded about online.
  4. There might have been a few people unhappy with Bullen after the playoffs but wanting him gone was absolutely not the consensus amongst the fan base, it wasn't even the consensus in the P&B echo chamber FFS. +1 for Curtis Woodhouse by the way.
  5. Disappointed for Bullen as a guy, he's worked his arse off and been a great ambassador for the club. However, results speak for themselves and a change was required. I'm hoping a few of the deadwood in the backroom staff clear off as well; the GK coach being the first.
  6. He's done f**k all but he if we wanted someone to work within the confines of Mathie's Make Believe Management System then he's going to get the job.
  7. If you look at Morton's backroom staff it is very similar to ours. I don't buy in to this myth that Ayr United have a massive budget because we have so many 'experts' on the staff; the likes of Morton and ICT are virtually the same as us. Kelty game is now a must progress for Bullen, if we lose that game then he is gone. I have no idea who would want to come in and work with this bunch of players though, so I suspect it will be McGeady who gets the gig.
  8. We really need three points today, no excuses with the injuries Arbroath have.
  9. Just waiting for us to go full #imminent and then announce an extension to Jack Young's loan.
  10. Ordinarily with Arbroath, Kelty and Arbroath again you could look at getting three wins in a row but that isnt something we have achieved in a long, long time. Stenny, St Johnstone and Alloa in the League Cup, to be exact.
  11. What should our expectations be for this season and this squad? I honestly don't think they're good enough for the top four.
  12. We didn't play that badly today...as we lost 3-1 to a team, with their manager in the stand, who hadn't won in their last five games.
  13. Did I miss something, why are we allowed to stream 3pm games now? Incidentally, I have just been out in the garden with my boots on: the turf is taking a stud but the dog is finding it a bit too chilly for a game of keepy-uppy.
  14. I will never ever understand the huge extension we gave to McKenzie, just a baffling decision for a player nobody would ever try and purchase. I sense he will go with way of Mikey Hewitt (another contract beneficiary) who is languishing on the bench for Hamilton Accies most weeks. Hopefully McGeady hangs his boots up in June as well, the legs have nothing left unfortunately.
  15. I'm sure Albinson wasn't happy at being dropped and may have voiced his frustrations but for me he was dropped purely on form. The clanger at Dundee United wasn't the first one he's had this season and I'm sure Bullen wanted to see what he has in Mutch. Is Albinson a better keeper than Mutch? Yes. Did he give Bullen an opportunity to drop him? Also, yes. Is it time for Charlie to be back in the starting eleven? Definitely yes!
  16. Mad that we have a sports psychologist yet we have a team full of pea hearted shitebags. That's two games in a row that Bullen has called out their mentality. In fairness, he does admit its a wake-up call for himself, too.
  17. How have we allowed Greenock fucking Morton to body us for nine points already this season? That alone is a sacking offence.
  18. Did Somerset Boab have too much brandy at Christmas? The poor guy was having a mare on the mic today - I think he needs to have a wee practise of the big words he wants to use for next time. Alex Ja,-ku-bye-ak deary me
  19. If he tore his ACL I would be amazed if he plays for us again this season.
  20. That fourth goal gets funnier every time I watch it, superb keeping from the big man. He will absolutely cost Rovers a few more goals this season. Are we all convinced the penalty was in the box? I am not sure it was.
  21. I'd be amazed if Rovers won the league by the way, they fell apart without Stanton and to be honest i felt they were fortunate with the red card. There's also an argument that the foul for the penalty was outside the box but I'd need to see it again and the ref doesn't get that opportunity, I guess.
