They were very bold to play about 6 or so new ones in a row, especially in front of a large group who it seemed had paid primarily to see vampire weekend. but it was all good.

Going to see Led Zep tomorrow night at the O2 in London. Cannae wait! Paid a grand each for 2 tickets off of Ebay but it's a once in a lifetime experience. With flights and hotels etc it's going to put me out about 2 and a half grand but it will be definitely worth it. Off now to the NME website to see if there's any news on what they might play tomorrow night. B)

Did you agree with the half for the Indian girl? or would you give her one? Adrien Brody just has one of those rubbery faces that lends itself to quirky characters. Even Owen Wilson wasnt too annoying! Great film. B)

Went to see the Darjeeling Limited. Wont be everyone's bag but if you like films replete in strong characterisation, slightly quirky with little plot development eg Lost In Translation, Royal Tenenbaums etc then you'll like this. Usually I would say 8/10 but an extra half for the gorgeous Indian girl in it (it's a weakness )

Off to see the Fannies play a tiny charidee gig at Mono tonight, cannae wait! And then Fannies drummer, Francis McDonald, and his band in Glasgow at the Accies Club on Friday night. Early next year, Fannies, Cribs and Nada Surf - all on either a Friday or Saturday night B)

Feel like a good rant cos I'm having a bad day plus I'm a cantankerous old c*nt 1) I bought those new sugar-coated cornflakes yesterday and forgot how annoying it is when you get wee bits of flakes stuck in your teeth and you spend all morning with your finger in your mouth trying to pick them out. 2) My watch strap broke and I keep involuntarily looking at my wrist like a total spazz. 3) I'm wondering why I continually buy suits from M&S when they always bunch your bits up, especially when sitting down. The worst is when you're driving and it looks like you've got a space hopper down your pants. I nearly crashed this morning trying to rearrange myself. 4) I have a new plook which either people will be staring at or I will be thinking they are so I wont be able to look them in the face and will instead by examining the ceiling for cobwebs in every conversation I have today. 5) My boss has just given me my workload for the day.

Tis the spice of life dear boy. Not a huge fan of the Twang but free tickets so cant complain. Wont hear a bad word about the Rifles though, they deserve to be HUGE! B)
