  1. Right handed and wear on the left but aye just fancied it as a bit more unusual, cant really tell any difference whilst wearing it and obviously don’t actually need to adjust it too often anyway.

First of all the BB GMT is a great watch.  Congratulations.  I assume you haven’t been hit with the date change problem?  From what I can gather the issue seems to have been resolved.

If it were me I’d go for the Pelagos 39mm.  I tried one on at the Tudor Boutique in Glasgow a month or two ago and it is a great watch.  Unfortunately it wasn’t for sale and there is already a massive wait list.

ETA have you looked at the other two Pelagos in the range? Both are 42mm (just like the LHD) and are readily available.

Had the GMT for a couple of years now and no date issue thankfully!

Aye I’m between the LHD and the black 42mm probably. Don’t mind the blue but having the GMT I think I’d like something more plain.

  3. Been humming and hawing over whether to try and pick up a Pelagos to mix things up from the BB GMT.

Quite like the LHD version too but probably be a bit more difficult to source one compared to the normal version

We got fucking battered by St Mirren as well

That kind of result isn't really abnormal throughout the course of a a season though, always the odd doing from another diddy mob.

I only caught the end of the Celtic game last week so haven't really seen anything of United so I guess I was just a bit surprised at how one dimensional they were after all the buzz about them and their signings in the summer.  Take that Levitt for example, all I remember him doing all game was balloon two free kick crosses right into touch….

I wouldn’t normally post about watches that are about to be released but I can’t quite decide what to make of the Omega x Swatch watches that are being released tomorrow.  I think they are a fun alternative type watch but I’d need to see them in person.   They have a 42mm bioceramic case with a quartz movement.  Rumoured to be retailing for approximately £250 with sales being limited to two per customer.

Thought I’d post it here and see what the good people of P&B think.  Is it a stroke of genius by Omega in that it will introduce new customers to the legendary Speedmaster or does it cheapen the brand?

@Bigmouth Strikes Again you own a Speedmaster.  I’d be interested to hear from a current Speedmaster owner.

Apparently 10 or 11 different styles / colours being released.  I’ve attached a photo of two of what I think are the better styles.

What is your kWh charge outside of the 5p?  The last time I looked at this, it was cheaper to charge on a normal rate than use Go.  Obviously this depends on your usage profile.

I also notice that the rate has jumped 50% to 7.5p/kWh

Think its about 16p on the Go tariff, been with Octopus for a few years, was about 14p my tariff before this one I think.

Going to be big changes come April time so no idea what it will be up to then.

  7. We’ve had a Cupra Leon Estate Hybrid since last summer. Mainly the other half driving it and with it set up on Octopus Go charging at 5p per kwh during the night she can get to work and back for about 50p which is pretty good.

The car itself is nice, a similar spec VW or Audi would be considerably more $$$ too. Also I think I've only seen one other car like it in about a year since we initially ordered it which I quite like. The Formentors do seem to be a bit more popular but I guess thats just because everyone seems to be into SUVs just now.
