  1. The same applies to the Second, Third and Fourth Divisions as well. It is already confirmed that no team will be relegated into the WoSFL from the Lowland League this summer.
  2. You see, this is why the vast majority of the WoSFL Board avoid this forum. I, on the other hand, try occasionally to be informative, and correct mis-information where I see it being posted. Most times, though, that leads to a debate and somebody challenging me to justify this or that or the next thing. The WoSFL Board is elected by the clubs, with representatives proposed and seconded by the 80 member clubs. That is really who the Board answer to, I have no need to justify decisions on here, although as I said on occasion I try to do so to be helpful. Usually it leads to some sort of negativity, but hey, I expect that. As for Broadwood, as far as I am aware, not one single club has raised an issue with the league about the offices being located there, nor have the clubs complained about the finals being there. The clubs have the power to change things, so if you're not happy then lobby your clubs to raise a proposal to change things.
  3. The facilities at Broadwood are top notch, to be honest, the only drawback is the location and the transport links. If there was a facility in central Glasgow that was as welcoming and accomodating as Broadwood has been, then that would be ideal. Unfortunately there isn't.
  4. Yes, the league's offices are now based at Broadwood, and all the General Meetings of the clubs are also hosted there.
  5. The junior cup final has nothing to do with the WoSFL, it is a separate matter altogether.
  6. Half an hour is "complete silence" ? Compare that to the multiple weeks of convenient silence from you when given a direct question that you find a bit awkward, lol.
  7. It's hardly "convenient" for the office bearers. None of them live anywhere Cumbernauld. Unfortunately we have a wide geographic base in our league, so finding a base that suits everyone would be impossible. The facilities at Broadwood are excellent, and they have been welcoming and accomodating. The stadium's location is unfortunate.
  8. The WoSFL is based at Broadwood. That's where the league's offices are, that's where the General Meetings of the clubs are, and the stadium has a mutual agreement with the WoSFL to host the WoSFL Cup Final and the Strathclyde Cup Final there. This has no connection to the SJFA's deal for the Scottish Junior Cup Final, that is a separate arrangement altogether.
  9. Hurlford was also postponed on Saturday, five minutes along the road from Darvel.
  10. Well it took you at least five invitations to do so.
  11. McGinty dived three times against us as well, one of them was particularly laughable. He's a good player, but he needs to cut out that nonsense.
  12. Ok, so finally you've been brave enough to respond, well done. I assume you are aware that the pyramid existed before the WoSFL did, and the Lowland League had an agreement with the EoSFL and the SoSFL prior to the WoSFL asking to be part of that. For that agreement to change, it required the agreement of all three existing parties, and the Scottish FA. Part of that agreement was that only champion clubs who are licensed can be promoted to the LL. The WoSFL had to agree to those terms, otherwise the Scottish FA would not have sanctioned the WoSFL's entry to the pyramid. It's as simple as that. It may change in the future if all five parties agree to change it, but I don't see that happening any time soon. I hope that gives you some clarity.
  13. You'd need to ask the Scottish FA to answer that one.
  14. Ok, @PossilYM, I'll endulge (for probably the 5th time now). I've asked you this question at least four times already, and on each occasion you have disappeared, not answered the question, waited a few weeks and then come back and trotted out the same line again. Then, when asked the same question, the same cycle repeats. So, for the sake of your credibility, please answer this question :- Why would it be embarrassing for the WoSFL Board if a non-licensed team wins the league again this season, given that the Scottish FA suspended new licensing applications last year and won't lift the suspension until after this summer's AGM ?
  15. I'm beginning to think our penalty shoot-out win in last season's Scottish Junior Cup semi final was our last ever. That's the three cup competitions we've gone out on penalties this season. We've actually only lost one cup tie over 90 minutes this season, and that was in The Scottish Cup. Good luck to Craigmark Burntonians in the quarter finals, if your goalkeeper continues to perform like he did today then you've a good chance of going further. For us it's ten league games left to see where it takes us. It's going to be a big ask to finish in the top three, but it's still possible. I reckon 7 wins would see us in serious contention, but anything less will give us no chance. At least we're not looking over our shoulders at the drop zone.
  16. So it's a new rule for this season, that's fair enough. You said it was "usually" demanded by the organisers, as if it was something that had been in place for a while.
  17. Last season's semi final (one-off match at a neutral venue) wasn't all ticket. Glencairn didn't sell any tickets for the match, all of our supporters paid at the gate. When we got to the semi final in 2013 v Auchinleck Talbot it was 2 legs then as well, but again it was pay at the gate for both legs.
