  1. If you think about it, his missed sitters reduced the penalty from six points to four.
  2. That's the gist of the question that kicked off this current shitstorm (and I can confirm I heard the question first hand).
  3. Perfect time to sell raffle tickets with mystery prizes. [emoji12]
  4. Maybe we can introduce a Luddite gate where entry can be bartered for fresh produce.
  5. And the Cumbernauld Colt toys are out the pram already 🤣🤣🤣
  6. That is a smoke and mirrors fallacy that has been invented to appease an angry mob and keep SFA and SPFL TV contracts.
  7. Changed days, to be moaning about another (potential) addition to the squad.
  8. Happy to pay a cost for it, I wasn't looking for a freebie like my son had but to go from £0 to £75 and from son to nephew, it causes you to pause. Also you misunderstood my point - I wasn't saying the club aren't trying to connect with the fans ( the last 6-9 months has seen the best unity for a long time). I was calling out the implication that a fourth tier club should be acting like a premiership club and putting profit before making mascotting accessible to the fan base. We have had folk saying their income prevents them from paying £35 for a CIC membership, yet being a mascot costs over twice that? Hitting the pricing sweet spot is always a challenge.
  9. Did so before the announcement as I was looking for a specific date.
  10. Max, it is only a good package if you value all that is on offer. I was looking into getting my nephew booked in for his birthday as he started coming to games with me last season just as the team picked up under Danny. What would make his day is meeting the team and leading them onto the pitch. Neither he nor I have any interest in sitting in the boardroom, getting pies at half time or having comfy seats. We have our usual place in the stand and that was more than enough for my son who has been mascot twice. It meant more to him to go back to the group of friends and family excited and to watch the game after the formalities. Perhaps tiered pricing may be an alternative but then, as you say(or allude to) it's all about making money, not connecting with your fanbase. We need to remember where we currently are in the game.
  11. My worry is that we are now turning McStay into a critical signing when he actually is not.
  12. Do Iceland have colt teams? They seem to be doing OK on the international stage. Surely has f**k all to do with proper covered facilities to suit the climate?
  13. In cup games both teams have to agree on the price and the higher league club can insist on the standard price for their home gate, so £20 was probably a price cut for Celtic.
  14. There was also talk about the Cuningar loop a while back
  15. Since when did they become the rentaquote faces regarding Clyde FC? Fucking desperate stuff. Have they asked John Ruddy about the signing being an NLC agenda yet?
  16. Excellent, we may have just dodged a bullet there.
  17. It is a simple equation for me now. The fans have given lots of backing over the season as well as pre season, with the hope that the team turns up. Now, the team need to give me something to turn up for over the remainder of the season. This does not include a relegation dogfight. MAKE ME WANT TO COME ALONG, instead of feeling obliged to.
  18. Soccer FM podcast has Kevin Rutkiewietz (sp?) on saying he is training with Clyde and will see what happens over the next couple of weeks.
  19. A draw with Edinburgh Ferranti LiviBank must be seen as a point gained for Stirling, no?
  20. Today wasn't about the result for me, it was about getting a taste of the style of football we can expect to see this season. I came away quite happy on that score.
  21. I shall be browning my meat around 8am on Sunday and letting it slowly do it's thing throughout the day before feeding it to the in-laws as a birthday treat. mmmmmmm.
