  1. I'm not sure the greens, or the lib dems for that matter, are pandering to the orange order- one of those parties alone could carry the vote for the SNP. Similarly I'm sure there are SNP msps like John Mason being kept in line over this issue.
  2. I don't think the greens would get very far promoting restrictions on freedom of speech like that to be honest. In the grand scheme of things it's an irrelevant bit of legislation, possibly used by the other parties to trip the SNP up, knowing the greens would never support it.
  3. Patrick Harvey's rendition of The Sash is particularly astounding.
  4. It's possibly due to the new voting system. Poland will always get loads of points in the public vote across Europe from now on due to migration. Last year Poland got 7 points in total from the UK. From now on, they're guaranteed at least 12 from the public vote alone.
  5. Not true, Germany won it 5? Years ago. France were doing quite well this year. The impact of political voting is overstated.
  6. Poland and Lithuania got the most points from the public vote last year as well. Poles and Lithuanians voting for their home country being the obvious reason for this.
  7. Nats taking solace in their 'BBC Bias' comfort blanket there.
  8. Wonder how she got that?ALLEGEDLY.
  9. Some countries/ cities have free public transport. Public transport is heavily subsidised anyway, hardly a major leap to it being free.
  10. Somerset Park has changed so much over the years, of course.
  11. Is there not investigations into Hillsborough all the time? Just seems like it is used as a political football.
  12. Iain Dale has just said that the EU referendum is a bigger deal than the Scottish referendum. Just leaving this here for Yessers to get het up.
  13. Some may do, if they have signed up for Amazon Prime.
  14. Of course the SWP would drop their commitment to independence if it was politically expedient. The only party that cares about independence for independences sake is the SNP. The rest - Greens, RISE, SWP, whoever - see independence as a means to an end. Conversely the SNP's talk left act right spiel is itself a means to an end- that end being independence.
  15. She's got nothing to do with the snp now of course, the party machine have fed her to the fishes.
  16. She's got nothing to do with the SNP.
  17. Just read that article. I thought he could have done better with generous - jeenorus or something. Just kept it the original English spelling. Poor show
  18. True, but you could just as easily apply that to every subject studied at standard grade level. Even English at that stage isn't learning the language but reading texts that will have little use in later life.
  19. Free personal care for the elderly, no tuition fees, no council tax rise for not far off a decade. It's an outrage.
  20. Do you get your partner to take the fine as well?
  21. It isn't QTs job to be fair or balanced. I will admit that there weren't too many pro SNP audience members but there you go. Half the country don't vote SNP.
  22. Brother, everything is biased against the SNP.
  23. First point, not so much. SNP (was) a vote for council tax freezes and is a vote for middle earner tax cuts like no tuition fees. The SNPs ability to court the No voter is probably one of their greatest successes, not to vote yes, but to vote for the SNP. It's something the media (particularly English) and some yes voters can't get their head around. The SNP can't have it both ways though. They didn't bother implementing many of the more 'progressive' parts of their manifesto such as reducing class sizes, then blamed their focus on the referendum for it. Now it is getting brought up, they seemingly want to talk about the issues that affect ordinary people. Bullshit.
