  1. Sounds like your neighbour needs to get his drains sorted.
  2. If the Airdrie suggestion is serious surely Tannadice or Gussie Park would be better. Both within a couple of hundred yards of Dens and pristine, immaculate surfaces. You'd only get a couple of hundred fans into Gussie but it's better than nothing and isn't in Airdrie. Guaranteed sell out for a Dundee game. Not to be sniffed at lads.
  3. Is there any reason why Dundee couldn't go cap-in-hand, on their knees, to their friendly neighbours and ask, politely, to be allowed to play on their perfect playing surface? They'd have the benefit of a much better pitch and stadium, just across the road, without putting their poor, put-upon fans to additional expense and inconvenience. Would seem an easy solution to a woefully self-inflicted, wrong-headed, cack-handed, problem all of their own making? Am I missing something here?
  4. I think he stopped pulling the card out in the last 10 minutes or so because he couldn't remember who he'd already booked. An absolutely mental performance from Walsh.
  5. It matters not a jot whether thoust were a cad before I started throwing coins at thee, thou art a cad! Tbf, I really don't care when you called the idiots out. Matters not a jot. You're not actually a character in this narrative (unless you were one of the bell ends throwing stuff).
  6. The Rovers fans were chucking coins and drinks. Hardly surprising some players took exception.
  7. Aye, I was making that point on the way up the road. You'd just need to tighten the nuts ever so slightly in Tony's head and he'd be a star. In terms of technique and physicality he should be a top player in the top flight in Scotland. Instead, he farts about more often than not. He turned it up for the last 10 minutes and was actually laughing at the Rovers players trying to challenge him whilst holding them off with ease. Like he was playing against bairns. Such a shame how rarely he seems motivated to play with that degree of intensity.
  8. Not sure about that. From my perspective, and most of those I speak to, it's well recognised that Sibbald and Docherty are the most important players in the team. Both consistently excellent when some others have dipped at various points.
  9. Boy got booted in the face because he dragged Moult to the ground and stuck his face in the way of his boot. Clear as day to anyone paying attention. No doubt it was a sore one but entirely self inflicted. And Dick spent the entire afternoon rolling around on the ground whenever anyone came within two feet of him. A shameless bell-end.
  10. And for much less - Moult for getting pulled to the ground by Murray and Sibbald for getting pushed over by Turner.
  11. Enjoyed that today and a little bit of justice done after the smash and grab last time at Starks Park. Rovers really are a horrible outfit. Constantly pushing, pulling and throwing themselves to the ground. Horrible, cheating wee fannies. Yer man at left back was a particular stand out. Dick by name, etc. A good day today for the good guys. Rovers' social media knob not quite so pithy tonight.
  12. Disnae work when it's your own team, surely. I'm saying Rovers will drop no points at all.
  13. Cammy Kerr throwing himself to the ground. Snide little w**k.
  14. Well, if you're accepting my posts at face value, then what we've established is that you're a fucking idiot who struggles to understand the most basic of concepts. I'll restate the only premise offered so you know exactly what to counter: the only creditor of any significance (to the club and to the creditor) is Mark Ogren. It's therefore beyond idiotic to suggest that Ogren is causing some detriment to the creditors by choosing to sell a particular allocation of tickets when the only creditor who could be prejudiced by that decision is Ogren himself. If we're not accepting that then no doubt you'll be able to offer some alternative view. Your suggestion, after all, was that there are creditors who will be prejudiced by United offering a particular allocation of tickets in one game. That's complete horseshit and you're talking out of your arse. No doubt you'll be able to refute this point quite easily. I can't wait.
  15. Ffs. Have a cup of tea and think about what you're saying. No, 98% if that's what it was, isn't a sell out. For non crowd w**k purposes, the point is that no one missed out on a ticket, which is entirely the issue at hand. So, no, not the same The "we sold out this time in under a minute" has just been pulled out of your arse and you know it. Which is disappointing given that your next point is "durr, would folk make a fuss on the internet about nothing?" I don't think you need me to address that one. So aye, some folk on the internet are fucking idiots. Don't be one of those guys.
  16. Are you claiming now that it's sold out already or that you just can't be arsed going back in to try? Would blame you if it's the latter, the ticketing software is awful. Ironically United just announced an extension of their contract with the ticketing provider on Tuesday. https://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/news/8322/DUNDEE-UNITED-AGREE-FUTURE-TICKETING-EXTENSION-.html
  17. I think we've already established that this isn't the case. One of your chums even sourced a tweet from Rovers showing that it wasn't sold out.
  18. Well, no he's obviously not the only creditor, that's why I said he's the only significant creditor. If he was literally the only creditor then I would have said that. There's a couple of million due to the Government, interest free, for the covid recovery loans which pretty much every club in the country took advantage of. It would have been negligent not to. Beyond that there will be your usual business invoices, maybe staged payments for a transfer fee here or there. The usual, run of the mill, accounting practises. Nothing's in default and everyone will be paid, except Mr Ogren. Nae luck Mr Ogren. Edit: Practises*. FFS.
  19. Oh Dee Man, is your face going to be red when you find out that the only significant creditor is the guy who owns the club.
  20. Disappointing, if not entirely surprising. Rovers
  21. Aye, we've moved past that point. Rovers did indeed come close to selling their allocation last time and there was chat about opening further sections. In the end that wasn't necessary. That would have meant opening a whole new Stand though. Sounds like you've been put in the Fair Play stand, which would be a smaller initial allocation with scope to extend along into the Jerry Kerr. That gives United the option of selling tickets in the Shed to United fans, which is always the preferred option. That would allow more fans from both clubs to attend. Not really sure the pissy statement from the Rovers board was necessary, or on point, but that seems to be the way of things with some people. If Rovers sell out their allocation and don't then get further seats then you can moan. Seems a bit premature before a single ticket has been released. The Rovers board are mostly local dryg dealers though, is that right? Probably whacked out on goofballs.
  22. Apparently they might only be getting as many tickets as they need but this time in a different stand.
