Thanks for all the organisation and smooth running! I'm (paakman01) going to sit out this next season as I'll be moving house in the coming weeks and there is a lot to sort there which will leave limited time for chess. Yours is a very fair summary of the game. I was pinned down by your Queen + Knight combination and for a while I was doing everything I could to get out of it. It was a really tough game with every move requiring a lot of thought so a bit frustrating to lose it with that blunder, just didn't see it at all. Well played! The analysis doesn't make for great reading for me, mistakes were made!

Invergowrie beats paakman by resignation. Daft blunder fairly early had me up against it and was never allowed back into it. Well played!

Division B paakman01 beats arabjoe by checkmate. Very similar to the game invergowrie describes above, I blundered a knight and in a tight game while trying to defend against a check a mate option fell into my lap.

Division B pakkman01 beats pnbmathematics & purplekangaroo by resignation. I tried a different opening against two players I've not had much success against before, seemed to do the trick. Both good games, thanks!
