  1. Just watched the highlights for the 1st time, couldn't make it yesterday but for me

    1. Ross Millen is a complete arse for getting himself sent off, just poor behaviour from an experienced pro

    2. didn't look much in the game, ball wouldn't drop in the right place for us and really poor defending for the goal.

    3. Any McNeil did OK, to come from a club being regularly pumped in L1 to play for a top table championship side in the space of a couple of weeks takes some doing, fair play to him.

Fair play to Airdrie, they seem to have our number for whatever reason. I know the guys who were there say we were lacklustre, but missing Sam Stanton sticks out like a sore thumb. Onwards and upwards to next week, it was the ultimate high at Tannadump but we have to put in a better performance against QP and ICT to see out the month. Not overly concerned about the cup games but winning them would be a big confidence boost.

Lastly, and I could be in the minority here, but the Rovers fans becoming rugby-esque and applauding Ali Adams goal was by some margin the most annoying part of the afternoon.

Have to disagree with you Shaughan, at the time I think most didn't immediately realise it was the sub keeper who scored. Think the applause was for 1. an absolute belter and 2. the sub goalie who was lapping it up.  Also at the time I reckon most thought it would be a consolation goal at best, which it really should have been. We could easily have been 4 or 5 up before that went in.

  3. Well, that was entertaining, would need to see 2 major incidents again, red card and penalty. Not convinced by either but I'm not the ref thankfully. Full credit to big Kev, as soon as he made the howler for the 4th he turned round to the home support and held up him hands to say sorry, we all make mistakes in our working life and full credit to the fans for backing him straight away.

Just a massive thank you to the Ayr manager for subbing the 2 players who were ripping us to shreds in the 2nd half.

Ayr are a bloody good footballing side and I always like my trips down to Somerset, may not be the prettiest ground in the league but it's certainly one of the more enjoyable.

Big well done to the fans who made their way through tonight, hope you all had a safe journey home.
