I'm sure this isn't the case in practise, but I feel like this Ashcroft signing is simply another GIRFUY to us.

He'll probably score the winner in the last derby too.

You got any centre backs you don't want??? 😅🤣

IF Ashcroft comes in and as has been suggested Murry requires an op then I would think Corr would be kept on as cover and Masson could be loaned out. Has showed some promise but not sure if he's ready for this level quite yet.

  2. Bump -

    From what I can gather..

Ayr lose to Dundee Utd and continue to hold the spud

Ayr finally relinquish their grasp on the tattie by beating Airdrie

Airdrie retain after a goalless draw with Morton

Queens Park take the spud with a defeat to Airdire at Hampden

QP lose to Partick to keep the spud

Dunfermline are the new holders after defeat at the hands of QP

Valiant effort to pass the potato to the league favorite's but a 0-0 draw see's the Pars retain possession.

0-5 defeat at home to Morton Pars retain again

Home draw with Arbroath, Pars hold the potato for the 4th game in a row.

Think that's right however I didn't spend too much time looking into it

On a personal note, it was nice to be at the game with my old man, he's had a pretty shit time of things recently so it was wonderful to spend some quality time with him, as time goes on it gets harder to make time for everyone. Forgive me the self indulgence, but the game was a brilliant distraction for him, and that means more than the result.

Hope you're old man is feeling a bit better, I know the result probably wasn't in his favour but it's nice to see stories like this, family is more important than football (only just) , but at the end of the day in this league we're all fans some of the best teams in Scotland. FTOF.

I had a season ticket there during the 96/97 season and the view was good (i was just about level with the half way line) but i found myself wanting back behind the goals. I miss the enclosure being used, me and my mates would sit between the dugouts on the small wall they had there. Even pop our head around to speak to some of the players (home and away) that were usually quite sound.

Used to sit there myself in the mid/late 70's, got Gordon Wallace (Mk1 manager) to sign my programme a few times......

.....while we're at it I really miss the old cowshed, stood in there a few times as well.

Would like to go to Ipox , but a lot of horror stories of piss and other objects coming from above, any thoughts?

Used to happen years back when you were in the bottom tier behind the goal, not an issue now that away fans are housed in the corner.
