  1. Not a great game but 2nd place secured, I'll take that.

Hopefully Partick can dump Airdrie in the play off QF as I'd fancy our chances more against them.

Just to add fair play to those Partick fans who made the journey through, made a decent amount of noise throughout the game, I've got a lot of respect for fans from Glasgow who shun the arse cheeks to support the 2 other teams.

  2. Don't think you will see 4 better taken goals in a game, 4 great finishes, not many keeper's saving any of them.

Been really impressed with Airdrie in what little I've seen of them this season, they way the close down and harass along with quick slick passing must be a joy to watch.

Really hope you guy's get a win on Saturday to put the Pars firmly out of the play off picture, that said given our results against you this season I also hope Partick pump you in the play off QF 😜

  3. Despite being there last night, I've only just managed to bring myself to watch the highlights. Taking away defensive frailties I don't think you'll see 4 better taken goals in a single game.

Still not quite ready to concede the title but do go all out Tx on y'all we're in the bottom of the 9th with one out remaining.

Hopefully we can pick up the point required on Saturday to secure 2nd spot then experiment a little with formations going into the playoffs. Personally I'd like to see Corr be given a run, more time for McGill and possibly Hamilton and Rudden up front together in at least one game.

That said I reckon Murray can be quite stubborn and may well stick to what we have been going with the last few games.

On a side note wonder if Ashcroft may make it back for the playoffs, can't remember exactly what was said about his injury.

The cards were justified, but I could see an argument about the first yellow so early. It was definitely a hard challenge, so the yellow wasn’t unjustified, and I think it ended up keeping a lid on the match better than otherwise.

Nah, the 1st yellow was an absolute stick on first few minutes or not, he could have easily sent of the Ayr player for the elbow to Easton's head and was also very inconsistent with a lot of the 50/50 decisions for both sides, also  made a few absolute howlers with goal kick / corner options, also the assistant refs were terrible too.

  5. Certainly not a game for the purists given the conditions, all we can do is collect the 3 points available on the day and we did that today. I'll take another 2 wins like that on Tues and next Sat before a couple of tricky away fixtures at ICT and Morton. If we go into the last Friday with a chance of finishing top of the pile fantastic, Partick only picking up a point today surely makes 2nd place reasonably safe.

6 games to go and still all to play for, cannot question the determination this team has.

Is this because of over-regulation? Or just plain penny pinching by clubs that don't want the hassle of dealing with cash?

whatever it is ALL clubs are losing out over this, the easiest thing to do at a game is turn up and hand over £20 (or whatever) and see a game, yes I get some games will be oversubscribed hence the need for all ticket but how often at this level does it happen ? not a lot.

Your average punter having a couple of beers in a pub near the ground used to think f**k it why not turn up and empty their pocket, now he has to queue to get a ticket, queue again to get in, no wonder a few say fucking  f**k this I'm going back to the boozer
