    Romantically that would be an ideal solution. However Dens's location really limits the potential for a multi sports; multi purpose venue with sufficient amenities nearby. I imagine if this land is ear marked for a new ground then there will be some sort of public-private partnership created with the aim of providing modern facilities for the city as well as the club.

    Sadly it's been so long since our cup win that all the cup winning team are long dead and cannot tell their stories. Dundee fans have to put up with the endless dinner speeches by some haddies who won some league and got pretty far in some pan - European diddy cup. Oh to be a Morton fan...
