  1. Unfortunately, he was offside or on his arse for 90% of his time at Clyde. Although he was unplayable at home against Ayr that night. What a performance.
  2. How many times does it have to be said, Jimmy Choo is NOT a Clyde supporter. He never had been. He's simply a troll. Mute the bore.
  3. I wasn't optimistic about our most recent 18 year old full back loanee but I thought young McGinn was excellent. Well done!
  4. Disappointed that once again we have not addressed the full back positions to the level I would've hoped. We now have an 18 year old left back on loan. How many of these have we seen over the years before they're dropped, never too be seen again. Hopefully he surprises me but he did look like a skinny, lightweight 18 year old to me on Tuesday night. Dunachie at right back? He did a decent job filling in there but his flaws in that position are becoming more and more obvious. Our last resort will be another loanee. Please God, no more 18 year olds from your Hamiltons or Kilmarnocks of the world.
  5. Allan's touch isn't great for holding the ball up. It's was made even worse last night by the ball arriving at head height. He needs it over the top to run onto or to his feet
  6. If I recall correctly, we also had an opportunity to clear the ball before the cross came in
  7. I feel some are forgetting how bad Parry was before he was dropped. He was flapping at almost every cross and cost us many goals. Both aren't good enough. If Leighfield still gets in the team before Parry it tells you a lot about McCall's opinion on the matter.
  8. I suspect the last couple of signings are to make good the promise of eight signings by our director of football. I can't believe those players are the quality Maitland had in mind when he made the statement at the Q&A. I hope I'm proven wrong but I'm not optimistic.
  9. The goalie made a horrendous mistake but that shouldn't mask the poor performances from many others in the team Howie, Dunachie are two who weren't at it tonight. The new fullback looks lightweight. The new winger seemed on his heals and slow to react. High balls to Allan are useless. He needs them over the top of to feet Also, I don't think I've ever seen a team take so long to make a simple pass. Always a delay or a second and third touch. How many times tonight were passes blocked or deflected? We got what we deserved tonight, goalkeeper mistake or not.
  10. So a eighteen year old that can't cross or defend? Just what we need
  11. I'm so glad we've managed to get Allan. Other than Goodwillie, he's the best striker we've had for quite some time. I missed him so much
  12. I hope you're a better judge of a player than me.
  13. What has King shown in his loan period with us that makes us think we should extend the loan? Other than the fantastic goals at the book ends of his initial loan he's been pretty anonymous in most games. Perhaps he does things for the team I don't see or are we gambling that he plays better in a better team (which can be said for most players).
  14. To be honest I don't see what other Clyde fans seem to see in Kian Leslie. His impact on matches up to now has been pretty minimal.
  15. I suspect the club had an idea the Crownpoint bid was likely to be unsuccessful. However, there was an AGM to be had and a chairman to re-elect.
  16. I suspect it chairman's definition of the "East End" of Glasgow will be significantly different from that of most Clyde fans
  17. Odds on a Clyde win are 15/4 from bet365 Fill yer boots and thank me later
  18. I walked away from the stadium with a smile on my face having enjoyed the match. It's been as long time. Long may it continue
  19. Today's performance was as bad as anything under Duffy. Long balls to Young and Leslie? Not once did they stick. I'd rather have Sula or Dunachie up there than those two lightweights unable to challenge or hold the ball up. Our tactics and team selection were a mismatch Roll on January 1st.
  20. After three seasons of Saturday boredom I'm concerned I may enjoy watching Clyde again. I don't really know how my heart will react to the shock. Although it's a risk I'm willing to take. Oooooh
  21. Glasgow City Council reveal reasons for rejecting Bully Wee's bid for Crownpoint move https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/clyde-fc-glasgow-city-council-31760332 I can't help but suggest it's possible negative comments may have been canvassed by those supporting the Finnart bid and their powerful friends. Perhaps Clyde should have played dirty and canvassed our supporters to enter negative feedback of the Finnart bid Hopefully Clyde ask for a breakdown of the negative comments including numbers and issues.
  22. Major news from last night, other than team news was an update from Glasgow City Council on Crownpoint is due by the end of next week. Although, three quarters of the allocated time were multiple circular discussions of minor articles of association. Priorities priorities
