I'm never a fan of his interview style, but this one really stuck in my craw. He just comes across like he's running down his contract and waiting to move on at the end of the season and whatever happens to Clyde happens.
Another red flag was raised when he didn't know how many points we are behind Stranraer.
His whole manner, whether in interviews or in the dugout, seems one of disinterest.

How long is it going to be before McCall realises Ballantyne is a waste of space, 12 games he played , and he’d be lucky if he could average 2 out 10 , hard to believe he has played football at any level, yet doesn’t seem to get subbed.
I agree.
I'm most games I forget he is even on the pitch. Has he touched the ball in any match since he came?

It is certainly a strong attacking lineup, I just hope we don't need to defend at any point.
No point playing defensively given our league situation.

I’m convinced half the Clyde accounts on here is just the same guy replying to himself.

I'm sure Allan get sent off for a similar challenge last season? If I recall correctly the sending off cost us the win

I'm so glad Clyde won that despite world class awful performances from King, Howie and Rennie. Add the anonymous duo of Ballantyne and Cuddihy.
McCall better start picking players to influence matches in a positive manner of we're to escape the trap door.
Thank God for Jordan Allan

I went to Elgin midweek, we lost
I went to Stranraer, we lost.
I went midweek against Forfar, we lost.
I thought f**k it I'm not going to Stenhousemuir...I'm starting to think I'm a Jonah.

You cling on to that!
Do you honestly think signing 35 players, many of which are from the leagues above is sustainable over an extended period with attendances around 200?
I genuinely don't think it is. It'll end at some point.
Look at Gretna and Edinburgh City for example.

To be totally honest, the way that 'traditional' clubs operate won't be sustainable at a lower level for too much longer and if these clubs don't move with the times, they'll be in big trouble. Well, even bigger trouble.
A very small percentage of today's yoot consume football in the so-called traditional way. An even smaller percentage enjoy going to an old creaking ground to watch substandard football on a tatty field. The experience they want as a fan is completely different from what we want.
As much as we may not like it, an 'empty shell' club like EK who market themselves in the correct way may have a much larger social media following and eventually will be able to sustain themselves to a higher level than the likes of us, Albion Rovers, Cowdenbeath etc who are ran by dinosaurs and rely almost exclusively on coaxing an ever-aging fanbase through the door. The idea of being a fan of a football club without ever setting foot near their ground is a common one nowadays and its only a matter of time until that perpetuates through the lower levels too.
You may be right.
However the idea that football may no longer be a live spectator sport but followed on social media or on TV is a sad one.
I wonder where EK will be in 20 years time after decades of mediocre league performances. I suspect their support will not come close to Clyde's current attendance.
EK's money will run out eventually.

Hopefully you don't just think it's the obvious clubs (those you've played since 19canteen).
A whole host of clubs below you are eyeing Clyde like vultures, many of whom also date back to the 19th Century. The pyramid has many levels, brother, as they say in Possilpark Masonic.
Mon the Juniors.
East Kilbride FC
13 years old.
Bankrolled by the Kean's.
Few supporters. Mostly fans of the Old Firm
Stadium in country park
Shallow stand with five rows of seating with no back support.
Empty shell of a club.
Clyde are a proper historical club with proper supporters
As are Cowdenbeath, Berwick Rangers and Albion Rovers.
I'd be careful what you wish for.
League tables should decorate who's in which league but don't pretend the fan experience is better at these empty shell clubs than at "traditional" clubs

Putting myself in the firing line -
I used to go to Shawfield sometimes back in the day when QP weren't playing, and was quite shocked at the abuse fired out by the Clyde support to their own players, and that's when you were half decent. Worse still, it was seen as a bit of a laugh. I haven't heard this anywhere else to the same extent. I can't imagine giving some guy on rock bottom wages absolute pelters will help him be a lower league Messi.
Whereas angry Queens Park supporters doff their bowler hats, dirty their spats and silence their rattles.

Is it wrong that I am starting to dislike Rennie so much?

That was fucking garbage

Approaching halftime yesterday I had a wee chuckle to myself when the Stranraer toddlers (ultras) started singing that they wish they played us every week. I found it funny because up to that point it was still 0-0 in a match that was devoid of goals, skill and any entertainment. Why the hell would you want to watch that every week?
Anyway, I suppose the last laugh was on me

Two players booked in the dressing rooms - Cameron and Forrest - for squaring up to each other.
That will be the first time Cameron has ever squared up an opposition player.

Some considered reflections on today's match from me:
Two away games in a row where we've resorted from kickoff to aimless punts up the park.
It's bad enough that Allan is slightly taller than a dwarf but at least punt the ball into the same hemisphere as he's occupying.
Allan looks as pissed off as I do when another punt rolls out of play or into the goalkeepers arms.
Is McCall afraid of real grass? Does he feel that our midfield cannot cope with a wee bobble? Elgin was exactly the same.
Taking Allan off at 0-1 to be replaced by Cameron? Surely that's McCall taking the piss.
McGinn was my MOTM last week. Benched this week for Lyon. Who was just... Ross Lyon (forever in my house a synonym for abysmal)
King, as predicted is back to his anonymous self.
Howie, has he left his footballing talent in Australia?
If I see another Clyde player blindly hook the ball over their shoulder I may shit myself in fury.
Parry, summed up by the predictive texts on my phone changing his name to "pussy".
Rennie, hopefully I live long enough to see him once, just once, seriously challenging for a 60/40, never mind a 50/50.
That police taser was really sore

When the highlights come out, look where Parry's positions himself before the second goal. He places himself into the right back position WITHOUT the ball. WTF?
He then literally sauntered back towards his area as Stranraer picked up the ball.
If I was being mischievous I could jokingly suggest he had Stranraer to win 2-0 on his coupon.

That performance was a disgrace!

More action in the terracing than on the pitch during that first half.

Dreading tomorrow. A defeat will be very telling about our future.
I'm not as concerned as many others seem to be.
Even if we finish bottom we still have the opportunity of the playoffs and I think we'll smash Brechin or smug Kennedy's mob.
Although I'd rather not finish bottom. Just in case

I've tried looking at the Stranraer website but I can't find the info in looking for.
Do you pay cash or cashless at the turnstile or is it a ticket office?
Can you buy online?

How the f**k can that pishy yellow one be in the top two?
For that alone the whole board should resign.
