  1. Bassett Hounds should have ears that are the same length as their legs..
  2. I've managed to rack up 56 and nobody suggested getting rid of it. Anyway, I'm in pole position for it at the moment! @BaSeDG0DSA1NT
  3. A point better off than Saturday morning. Now that this points deduction saga and uncertainty is finally over - it's over 12 months since it began - maybe there will be a bit more positivity about the place.
  4. Those weren't the words I was using at full time...
  5. After last year's Scottish Cup debacle, you should know better than mention Ayrshire (ex) juniors...
  6. The old Rangers tried to get Albion Rovers, Berwick Rangers, Brechin City, Stenhousemuir and Stranraer put out of the Scottish League back in the early 60s, but failed. Ironically, Rangers went out of the league first, and although 3 of the aforementioned teams are no longer in the league - with perhaps a fourth to soon follow them - they are all still alive under their original incorporation.
  7. The denizens of Kerrydale Street in fine form. "Celtic will do as always and not say anything about the catastrophic refereeing" Probably posted with a complete straight face, no self awareness whatsoever.
  8. Linfield missed out on top spot, after a 0-0 draw at the Oval in a matched spoiled a bit by the weather, Neither side asserted themselves, thought Glentoran had the better chances, but it ended in stalemate. Earlier, Larne lost 1-0 at Inver Park to Crusaders to open up the title race yet again. Coleraine came from two down to draw with Cliftonville at the Showgrounds. Dungannon beat Carrick, Glenavon beat Newry and Ballymena beat Loughgall, all 3-2. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68750400 Goals/highlights - Glens v Blues https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/68753887 Larne v Crues - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/68752389 Coleraine v Cliftonville - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/68749051 Glenavon v Newry - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/68752392 Dungannon v Carrick - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/68749047 Dean Shiels joins the Coleraine backroom staff. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68734293 Top Larne P 34 Pts 80, second Linfield P 34 Pts 79, third Cliftonville P 34 Pts 71, Crusaders fourth 13 points back Bottom Newry City P 34 Pts 17, eleventh Ballymena United P34 Pts 22, and well clear in tenth Dungannon Swifts P34 Pts 35
  9. I think today's result will be a pivotal one in the battle to avoid finishing bottom, and that Clyde will be o.k.
  10. That'll maybe do it - thought all 3 points were staying at home for a while!
  11. Better than losing, Dundee and Hibs doing their best to keep things "interesting", but at least Derek McInnes knows where his loyalties lie...
  12. Vital win, especially with Luton winning.
  13. As a mate of mine once remarked about the nun who headmistress of his primary school - "It must have been eating the leg aff her".
