Got onto the main road and the car behind me slipped out too, meaning the car coming down the main road would probably have had to brake. I moved into the turning lane and the car at the back attempted to overtake the two of us! He couldn't have noticed the turning lane going in the opposite direction, despite the pink tarmac and chevrons. Fortunately he realised his error and pulled back in. There was a horrendous accident at the same spot when a stranger overtook and wrote off himself and another car, deaths and injuries, completely oblivious of the turning lanes.

I can't see City getting anything here, unfortunately. But hope springs eternal.
