  1. No, he didn't grow out of it - the whole family drinks soya milk, apparently.
  2. Or have another quick to get your money's worth out of the new stuff! On second thoughts, just get second half stuff!
  3. I knew you were going to ask that question! I don't know, he got adopted and we only see him once a year, my wife might know all the same, I'll ask her.
  4. We fostered a wee fella that had a milk allergy - i can't remember what he was put onto, but after he got it his exzema (I know that's not spelt right) disappeared. He's 11 now and healthy as a trout.
  5. That's not so good, there's nothing worse than watching a child struggling for breath.
  6. I think the current guidelines for pregnant women drinking are that they are allowed 1 tea spoonful of alcohol every 25 years - or is it 25 tea spoonfuls every year - something like that. But just to be on the safe side you might want to do a vegetarian roast marinated with organic water.
  7. The Smurfs - I enjoyed it, some "adultish" jokes, but good family fun, took 2 of the grandchildren + foster son and adopted daughter, and they all enjoyed it, too! 7/10
  8. I'm not but my wife is! And grandchild nr. 12 is due any day now.
  9. Grandchild nr. 9 is now potty trained, he's 3 past in July, grandchild nr. 10 isn't thinking about it, she's 20 months, while grandchild nr. 11 is still filling his nappies with great enthusiasm at 13 months.
  10. The Dons played Elgin City in the Scottish Cup in 70/71
  11. Gnomio and Juliet yesterday. Passed an hour and a half, although I've seen better childrens films - the only time we go to the pictures is with the grandchildren - I'd give it 5/10. It's more a wee girls film than a wee boys one I think, if anyone has 5 - 10 year olds and is thinking of seeing it.
  12. Still snowing, 2.5 hrs of it, but at least my wife is home (not sure if that's a cause for celebration or not), but child not home despite leaving school about 2 hours earlier than usual.
  13. I'm starting to get slightly concerned now. My wife is in Ballymena with her youngest daughter + 4 month old grandchild, and she was on her way home 45 minutes ago. No sign of her yet, and if the car can't make it up the brae, I don't know how I'll get my wife into the house as she needs a stick to get about. Snow still coming down steadily.
  14. The thing about the bins was tongue in cheek - and if the snow hadn't started, I'm quite sure they would have been emptied by now, icy roads or no icy roads.
  15. After no snow over the weekend, and a bit of a thaw yesterday, which of course resulted in a skating rink this morning, it is now snowing again, very steadily since 12.30ish, and there is quite an accumulation, the front path, which was clear, is now covered. Just had a phone call to say foster son's school will be closing early, whether the bus makes it up the hill is debatable. Daughter's bus was cancelled this morning due to ice, which is probably just as well as I doubt if her bus could have made it up the hill. No sign of the bins being emptied, either!!
  16. Re programmes - what are you looking for? I sold my collection 14 years ago, but still have a few programmes, mostly Irish League, to be honest.

  17. I didn't say I learnt anything, just that I was educated.
  18. I don't recall any, and I was educated in Aberdeen
  19. A new BNP policy for all you BNP lovers.
  20. Well, at least in one respect you are even more right wing than they are.
