"In early 2001, Otis the Aardvark was contacted by Guns N' Roses leader Axl Rose, to contribute a spoken word piece for an as yet unreleased song from the Chinese Democracy sessions. He spoke of getting on well with their avant-garde guitarist Buckethead."

Pusbook for The Loft nightclub in Perth is ripe just now. An alleged PDF of folk banned from the premises has been doing the rounds the past day or so. Details local mischief makers and why they were no longer welcome on the premises. Despite acknowledging it as real in PMs last night, they've since put out a statement claiming that they've no previous knowledge of said document and that it wasn't from their system. Cue folk mentioned in the document commenting and saying they're lawyering up due to slander and the obvious GDPR breach. All in all tremendous entertainment.

Found all soaps tedious shite but used to watch Brookside as a bairn at my grannys. Was probably too young to be properly invested in any storylines but just found scousers amusing. -

Nothing official yet but seems that Killing Joke guitarist Geordie Walker is away. Absolutely unique player. Totally irreplaceable. Drawn towards The Hum indeed. https://youtu.be/bbkzX5e6hHs?si=zKnQIp8OqNd4fwNn -

Not been there for years. Knew it had ludicrous selection but my malt knowledge was still a bit rudimentary when I was last there. Bon Accord also tremendous for the enthusiast.

Got dicked about for 40+ mins South of Lochgilphead with roadworks with a convoy system. In after Tesco and Coop shut. As a result, "tea" is 2 pints of Gladeye and a packet of Nobby's chilli nuts. Had worse tbh.

The fact that everything is "in house" was part of the appeal in addition to the obvious of them doing good juice. Glen Scotia here too but need to see if they're doing tours. Will need to be tactical with things if I'm doing three

Nowhere near the heat of the likes of the Samyang 2x spicy things but these are class. 35p a packet in B&M. Decent peppery warmth. Good enough on their own but great to add stuff into. They're the soup style so a chopsticks/spoon combo is recommended. -

Solid pint of 80/- in St Tam's in Arbroath this evening. -
Resurrection Joe, Spiritwalker and Moya highlights for me. Tremendous energy in place. Astbury on about getting the bus to Milton as his granny used to live there

Made a belter of a stew the other night. Couple of Beyond Burgers. Cut into chunks and fried in a bit of stock until they caramelise a bit. Then in the air fryer to firm up. Onion gravy with a load of McEwan's Export in it. Load of onions, carrots & parsnips. Wee dod of Marmite and some rosemary & thyme Lobbed it all in the slow cooker for a few hours. Tremendous.
