That’s 11 points we’ve now thrown away from 80+ mins this season. (well, technically 9 since we were drawing with Clyde at 80 mins). Though, we did gain late points against Forfar and East Fife at home tbf.

    Bonnyrigg (a) 1-0 up, FT 1–1, conceded 81’
    Spartans (h) 1-0 up, FT 1-1, conceded 90’
    Peterhead (h) 0-0, FT 0-1, conceded 85’
    Stenhousemuir (h) 0-0, FT 0-1, conceded 87’
    Clyde (h) 4-2 up, FT 4-4, conceded 90’, 90+2’
    Peterhead (a) 1-0 up, FT 3-1, conceded 82’, 90’, 90+2’

As a completely pointless fact, if all those games had ended at 80 mins, we’d be 5 points behind Stenny, with a game in hand. As great a run as they’ve been on, trailing them by 16 points is surely unacceptable.

I suspect this shows that our subs coming on with 10-15 mins to go are actually weakening the team instead on providing fresh legs...there's no one on the bench who is anywhere near a game changer

  2. For me...it was the change of formation that made the biggest difference...instead of Wallace having to drop deep to try and win the ball and leaving us with nothing up top... suddenly so much space for the midfield

Great and clever pass from Lynas for Findlay's goal

Keep that formation for next week...so much better to watch

  3. First half tactics seemed to be to try and beat Spartans offside....don't think it worked once

We actually looked not bad when we tried to play football, but final ball was poor too many times, especially from the right wing

Don't agree a draw was fair...they literally had 1 shot at goal... their number 7 only good player

No idea what happened to the pre season football

If they are offering him a deal then they’ll need to agree/meet any fee we’re asking for first.

True...unless he has a higher division release clause in his contract...I've no idea if this is the case though

It looks more and more likely to me that the management know Finlay is offski.

Rumour I heard was that he'd been offered a full time contract with QoS, but would have preferred to stay with us if we won promotion...so...I've got no idea

  6. Pathetic performance...I can't see any future for Farrell at Dumbarton after tonight...there did not appear to be any game plan...I would love to know what it was...lump the ball forward and hope for the best???

I know the back 4 will be slaughtered but when we keep letting teams come onto us and put cross after cross in... what do we expect to happen?

Fair play to Annan...it could have been a lot worse than 6 and they thoroughly deserved that victory

No intention of going on Saturday

How was George Stanger in his brief spell for you guys? Did he look like someone capable of stepping up to the Championship?

I always liked him as a player and was disappointed we didn't get him the following season... been a while though and no idea where he's been playing since

I wasn’t at the game but was surprised when I saw the attendance was only 400. The stand holds over 600.

We played Livingston in the cup and the stand was full. They brought a fair few on the terrace but the official crowd was given as 900.

Not a chance that crowd was only 400 odd... Dumbarton brought probably about 200 fans

OK, I get it that you're involved in refereeing, and rightly stick up for the officials. I rarely criticise the refs on here but there was just something about his performance today that really grated with me. Were you there today? Given your background I'd genuinely like to hear your opinion on some of the decisions and bookings:

    * Bonnyrigg put it out for a throw in to allow treatment for a Dumbarton player. Dumbarton go to take the throw and he insists it's a Bonnyrigg throw in.

Did he not indicate it was a foul throw? Either way...it was bizarre as we were clearly going to give the ball back to Bonnyrigg

He really does if there’s any truth in that. I dislocated my shoulder landing on a hard wood floor while playing fives, all I said was “f**k” on impact, followed by “I think I need to go to hospital” as I stood up. Not a tear in sight.

Go in goals if you're injured...degree of injury irrelevant....it's the rules

Those players are thin on the ground. There seems to be a shortage of decent strikers at all levels of Scottish football right now. In an era without colt teams then we perhaps pick up a young striker from Rangers or Celtic. In the past we took Shiavonne from Hearts. These days? Clubs would probably rather keep their strikers in house. If they're good enough then they'd be loaned to a Championship team.

Gemmell probably did more in one substitute appearance last Saturday than Schiavonne did all season

I’ve nae idea how true this is but I’m hearing the tops may have a silhouette in the background. I sincerely hope this isn’t the case.

Simple and classy is the route we should be going down.

A silhouette of the rock combined with the traditional white strip with black and gold bands COULD be an amazing look

Right chuffed with yesterday. Not much to say about the first half. Cross balls to McHugh isn’t very inventive. He got a few flicks but none with any conviction.

We looked liked a professional outfit in the second half. Dumbarton chucked it after the second really. Longridge assist for the third goal was lovely 🤤

We’ve got McHugh, super Bob McHugh…

My only moan is time wasting in the corner 3-0 up. What a joke that is 😂

    5W 5D 0L 👍👏🏁

The time wasting was really strange... everyone else on the park and in the stand knew the game was comfortably won

    Btw...that strip is absolutely honking

Pretty sure we offer that option when paying for something in the reception area so god knows why that can’t be arranged for the bar or the turnstiles. Most other businesses are encouraging people not to use cash at the minute.

The bar has a card machine
