  1. I think Oliver has done well since coming here and has been a good signing. Last season, especially second half of the season he was played as a number 9 which he done the best he could given it is not his natural position. This season there are now players in the team playing at a higher level each week making it difficult for him to get a starting place. When he is needed he has contributed. Worth a contract next season? Probably not.
  2. Not 100% but I think Sandy Alexander wanted the stand to be like the Hope Street end at Brockville where friends could congregate together at games. Friends who were season ticket holders and those who were not. Easiest way to achieve this was unallocated seating.
  3. Maybe there are other clubs seriously interested in Morrison but has been kept quiet. We certainly have cover for Morrison if he goes tonight. Morrison however can provide that extra bit of magic when needed in games even when he has had 6/10 game. Like the majority of us, hope he will be here to the end of season but can't see any longer than that.
  4. Maybe it might be better putting Mackie in at centre half so as to reduce the number of changes needed. Tight pitch so less running about needed by him. Would also play Agyeman through the middle as a number 9 (if MacIver struggling for fitness). He is more effective nearer the centre of the pitch than out wide.
  5. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67887975 That's some way to try to make you're bitter rivals feel at home.
  6. Y You've also got Lewis Ferguson playing well in Serie A and not getting a regular start with Scotland. Carney well down the pecking order.
  7. Think they might mean regarding gas pipe problem.
  8. Definitely don't risk Spencer on Saturday. Finn and Hendo in the middle. My main worry is making sure Spencer is fit to play on Tuesday against Montrose. Is Hendo suspended against Montrose?
  9. I posted on Falkirk thread that Finn probably had concussion as he vomited after his head knock he got the yellow card for.
  10. Bit of a worry that McGlynn in his interview said Finn had vomited and had to be subbed. Take it he has concussion. Any rules in football regarding concussions like they have in rugby?
  11. Annan goalie is a time wasting Fife twat. Weve been poor though. Same problem as always when a team sits in.
  12. Just sign up for twitter, you don't have to tweet or follow anyone. I don't even use twitter app. Instead of going to Falkirk Fc main page just go to their twitter page for latest info.
  13. Seen that mentioned on twitter. Had a look at photo from Aberdeen youth squad. Could be him.
  14. Think the new strip is decent enough. Hopefully white shorts is an option from an all white away strip. Nice to see a local company run by a Falkirk fan being on front of top. Folk complaining about the size of the sponsors logo should try to remember the TR fastenings shirt sponsor. Now that was big.
  15. That turn by Hetherington at the goal. Cruise liners turn quicker
  16. If he's got such a lengthy ban coming up then what's the point if he has to serve them this season.
  17. Falkirk being mentioned in this article as one of two teams that was in for the rapist. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10466015/amp/STEPHEN-McGOWAN-David-Goodwillie-signing-triggered-PR-catastrophe-Raiths-making.html I'm assuming this is the usual lazy journalism picking up rumours from P&B and COYB. Digusting use of far too many photos of him.
  18. I'm just so relieved we didn't sign him. A few goals for a couple of years is nothing when you consider the loss of lifelong fans and sponsors. Very likely we at least made an enquiry about his availability.
  19. Got to remember that Dowds only can play for us or Arbroath this season in Scotland. Two clubs a season rule.
  20. Will it be disappointment of not getting anybody else in or the disappointment of signing somebody completely pish. Paying a five figure fee for John Stewart level of pishiness of the past.
  21. They got a couple of breaks of the ball for the goals but defending after that wasn't great.
  22. Great game to watch, really enjoyed it as a neutral. Both teams kept going at it for the 90 minutes. Grit and determination that Falkirk have rarely shown in past few years.
