Feel like we are in a good place with Brown, he's done a decent job with a pretty hefty injury list.  I was looking at points gained Vs Bullen coming in.

I think the circumstances are not too dissimilar, this squad is a little better than what Bullen was working with but the injury crisis probably evens it out enough.

    First 9 games - Bullen 11 | Brown 15

    Game 15 - Bullen 15 | Brown TBC but at least 15

Bullen then has an extra game Brown won't get and got to 18 points.

I'd be surprised if that 18 point haul isn't surpassed.  It was seen as very good and the club were shouting about ending on mid table form that off-season.  Currently we are top of the form table over 10 games (1 of those belongs to Davie White) and third over 5 games.  Again, this has all been with at least 4 starting first team players injured in almost every game.

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of squad he puts together next season.

Game 12 - Brown surpasses by 1 point what Bullen achieved in 16 games.

I think the fact that so many folk were trying to get the ball off Willoughby tells me that Dowds was supposed to be on penalties. Musonda even said something to Willoughby before he took it.

It’s not a good look but if Willoughby had missed you can guarantee he’d have been subbed at half time and wouldn’t have been seen again.

Murphy was on them, Dowds had to convince Murphy who basically said he didn't care.

If you’re going to Prestwick, Red Lion had decent food at reasonable prices, pub grub type and only couple minute walk from the station. Ayr you have a few good choices. Willie Wastles is best for food and sports, had like 20 odd teles and football/horse racing etc, about a 10 minute walk right down the town. You’ll pass Tam O’Shanter like Itzdrk recommended, but it’s only got like 2 teles and with the racing on might not show the football.

Seems every week we play at home at the moment.

Didn't realise we were slaughtering horses this week.  Thought it was next week.

Not really interested in the football but I’ve not been to somerset so making the trip through on the train. Pub recommendations from the station to the ground? Preferably one that does food and shows the 12:30 ko.

    Go to Tam O'Shanter IMO

The change at Prestwick is absolutely nothing, you are on the platform waiting for 7 minutes at most.

  6. First two episodes are brilliant.  I think it probably works well as just a TV show for people who never played it whether they like games or not.

It must be something to do with internet or something cause i was sitting directly behind the platform where they film and it's a fricking Panasonic 4K camera they use so it's not as if it's some knocked off Derek Trotter camcorders

Watch out! Trotter’s about! | Facebook

I had the issue explained during COVID and it seems to be the same issue.  Memory is hazy on it but the problem was it coming back out of where it gets uploaded to.

  8. Considering the team we are having to put out Brown is doing absolute wonders with them.

First half hour was pretty poor but we tweaked something (or I presume so because I couldn't place what it was) and ran the game until the last 15.

Had a number of good chances to get a second on a plate from a pretty poor Morton defence but they seemed to manage to get a toe on things out of nowhere.

Disagree with comments about Morton being overly rough as we gave as good as we got.  Only real rough stuff was that c**t Baird putting his shoulder into Bryden off the ball which should have been a yellow and the suplex that (I think) Oakley did which IMO was just funny - think he got booked. Lots of niggly stuff otherwise not letting folk just go past which is fine with me.

Two more times in the Somerset Road End and then never have to go back in there 😍
