Feel like we are in a good place with Brown, he's done a decent job with a pretty hefty injury list. I was looking at points gained Vs Bullen coming in.
I think the circumstances are not too dissimilar, this squad is a little better than what Bullen was working with but the injury crisis probably evens it out enough.
First 9 games - Bullen 11 | Brown 15
Game 15 - Bullen 15 | Brown TBC but at least 15
Bullen then has an extra game Brown won't get and got to 18 points.
I'd be surprised if that 18 point haul isn't surpassed. It was seen as very good and the club were shouting about ending on mid table form that off-season. Currently we are top of the form table over 10 games (1 of those belongs to Davie White) and third over 5 games. Again, this has all been with at least 4 starting first team players injured in almost every game.
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of squad he puts together next season.
Game 12 - Brown surpasses by 1 point what Bullen achieved in 16 games.

Thank you for all the messages guys it means a lot. I'm gonna take some small solace in the twinned 5-0 wins.
Nae sympathy when you want to call me a c**t in the coming weeks or we're no doing it right, ok?

Listen boys, I'm no everyone's cup of tea on here and that's ok but I found out my granda died just before kick off. It was him that got me into Ayr, the first game he took me to was a 5-0 win so the boys did something really special for me today.

Chalmers was poor when he came on, I think that was more due to McGeady than Chalmers though.
P.s. I love Logan Chalmers

I think the fact that so many folk were trying to get the ball off Willoughby tells me that Dowds was supposed to be on penalties. Musonda even said something to Willoughby before he took it.
It’s not a good look but if Willoughby had missed you can guarantee he’d have been subbed at half time and wouldn’t have been seen again.
Murphy was on them, Dowds had to convince Murphy who basically said he didn't care.

If you’re going to Prestwick, Red Lion had decent food at reasonable prices, pub grub type and only couple minute walk from the station. Ayr you have a few good choices. Willie Wastles is best for food and sports, had like 20 odd teles and football/horse racing etc, about a 10 minute walk right down the town. You’ll pass Tam O’Shanter like Itzdrk recommended, but it’s only got like 2 teles and with the racing on might not show the football.
Seems every week we play at home at the moment.
Didn't realise we were slaughtering horses this week. Thought it was next week.

Not really interested in the football but I’ve not been to somerset so making the trip through on the train. Pub recommendations from the station to the ground? Preferably one that does food and shows the 12:30 ko.
Go to Tam O'Shanter IMO
The change at Prestwick is absolutely nothing, you are on the platform waiting for 7 minutes at most.

Think how we feel having lost thrice to them. Lee Bullen must stand trial for international war crimes.
Netanyahu, Putin, Biden, Sunak, Scholz & Bullen up at the Hague for my Christmas plz

I don't take it back but I was glad he was on the park for that f**k up.

Wage thief of the highest order.
He has played in two of the worst Ayr teams of the last ten years. How he survived the cull after the Kerr season was mental.
Watching Baird in particular was making me hate the sport for a bit.
Genuinely would have kept OG McGinty, big Roscoe over him.

That second Dundee United goal tonight is really frustrating as we must have fluffed that same chance 5 times midweek

Oh, here's wee Derek in one of his standard "three other posters have made a point so I'll steam in behind them" inputs.
Basically Ford Kiernan in this sketch.

Aye, how dare we be happy after 10 years in L1 that we have finally made it back to the level we all felt we should have been operating at.
Definitely unreasonable behaviour.
There's a difference between enjoying it and demanding personal congratulations for paying to watch it.

Same team as Tuesday with Murphy in for Chalmers.

If you see the video that the analyst had it is a clearly 100% head butt , Baird trying to say Bryden collided with his shoulder
Hope that's going to the compliance officer then. I was sure it was just a shoulder.

I had the issue explained during COVID and it seems to be the same issue. Memory is hazy on it but the problem was it coming back out of where it gets uploaded to.

I don’t think Oakley got booked for the suplex, as I remember thinking it was hilarious refereeing!
Was maybe just an incident in the same area shortly after. He's a really weak referee and inconsistent in his decisions.

Considering the team we are having to put out Brown is doing absolute wonders with them.
First half hour was pretty poor but we tweaked something (or I presume so because I couldn't place what it was) and ran the game until the last 15.
Had a number of good chances to get a second on a plate from a pretty poor Morton defence but they seemed to manage to get a toe on things out of nowhere.
Disagree with comments about Morton being overly rough as we gave as good as we got. Only real rough stuff was that c**t Baird putting his shoulder into Bryden off the ball which should have been a yellow and the suplex that (I think) Oakley did which IMO was just funny - think he got booked. Lots of niggly stuff otherwise not letting folk just go past which is fine with me.
Two more times in the Somerset Road End and then never have to go back in there

How Logan Chalmers hasn’t seen red in that first half is beyond me. Oakley booked for a nothing foul, Chalmers flying into Gillespie with an elbow then a minute later commits a cynical foul, no yellows shown for either of them

I've only just clocked our first penalty. The referee certainly made two decisions there
