  1. Your game and one v Dyce Juniors have been added looks a better pre season this year last year really just had a couple games over the weekend at Elgin then into cup games with no goalkeeper signed until the friday & not being able to play trialists meant we filled a number of positions with no hopers, the rest as they is history, not to be repeated i would hope.
  2. Would think if it was between us two Elgin would probably get him as nearer home, think that was one of the reasons he moved from us last time. Shame injury has hampered him.
  3. We had games v Buckie & Banks o Dee announceed the other but since we avoided each other in the cup a pre season is fine, is it on the grass or plastic ?
  4. Not sure about Ryan but Jordan has been away on holiday
  5. cant remember exactly what else he did but think he did quite a bit of watching teams/players fo teams. Good lad who alway gave his all
  6. Remember getting on the chopper one day and being faced with Doug Rougvie sitting opposite, at least he had his teeth in i think. Also met Calum McDonald who i sponsord during his time at Peterhead waiting to go offshore at the heliport. The other well know ex player to go offshore was the late Davy Robb "The Brush" who was offshore as a scaffolder.
  7. They seemed to forget that the last time we were in the same league
  8. Maxwell & Doncaster will come up with another master plan to keep the ugly sisters happy
  9. When interviewed on the news he gave the impression although bodied if there had been a vote he thought i will keep coming back with similar crap/
  10. Aye has been a productive venture, does not seem to get a mention meantime but we saw a huge improvment in Jack Wilkie last season who was voted our young player of the year. If you have any more am sure we would happily help.
  11. Glad to see Josh still pushing on, always thought he would. Lyle can be magic at times just needs consistecy
  12. Would not think he would be pushing for a place with you next season but wondered what the future held for Jack Wilkie, gradually got better & better for us last season & won our young player of the season. Whatever happens would wish him sucess in the future.
  13. Been discussed quite a bit by supporters of clubs further down the food chain. The reaction has been very much against thie stupid idea. This is being driven to satisfy two clubs with more players than they know what to do with so want to mess with the whole league system. Happy that my club have said we will be voting against this but also need Lowland League clubs to stop allowing B-Teams a foothold into league football when their place should be in the existing reserve league.
  14. Have Dundee issued a full list of retained/released players yet?
  15. Ian McCall needs a decent budget to work with i heard.
  16. We ended up in that situation last season when the season arrived & in the league cup with no triialists allowed we were forced to sign players that were not up to it & quickly found ourselves losing ground to all in the league. A second rebuild could not change things and by the end of the season around 30 players had been signed of which only 4 were retained for the coming season. Jim said there had been a big change in getting players to come up from central belt as clubs down there now able to offer better wages, not sure how it affect full time signings but fairly sure you would have found it easier if in the league above.
  17. Was starting to show what he could possibly do but HFL clubs are notoriously hard to deal with, if they wanted much of a fee probably best to look elsewhere.
  18. Although results did not show it there was a huge improvment on and off the field. There was a stat going around that last season between Jim & Davie we had signed 30 players during the season of which only 4 have been kept which says it all. Ryan & Jordan will have full backing frm the board & support, not sure if we need somebody on the sidelines with both lads playing thought we might have tried Jim as a DOF to watch games opponents and players but looking forward to the new season
  19. Do Cove fans see any chance of the club pushing for some sort of partnership between Aberdeen and themselves, fair enough they are League 1 but could be a decent test for some of the Dons squad & if both squads full time training etc should not be so much of a problem. Just to add glad the Dons like ourselves knocked back the B-Team Conferance carry on, have Cove made their feelings clear on this
  20. Glad to be able to report our chairman issued a message that we will be voting against the conferance nonsense when it comes to the vote.
  21. Was told about him by a Locos fan before he went to you & later told you paid 20K for him. £18K for a 21 year old with his potential seems ok to me, better value than Hester with the chance of a ban still to come & not really proven against full time defenders. Was a bit surprized that you seem happy with McIntosh always looked as if he was going to do something when he was with us but by the time he tried to do it the chance was gone, was always quick & strong he may have improved since he left us but Cove supporters tended to be keen to dump him although that was before Rory left.
