Agree Elgin have improved, are most of the squad signed on for next season or will it be a rebuild. The pitch looked a bit better this time but seemed quite sticky, i take it there are no sprinklers. We seem content to run the season down although everyone seems to want 2nd place to get our 2nd leg at home.hopefully we will threaten more with at least one striker back next week.

Will be there on Saturday but will just drive up & back so dont get to use what i hear is a decent social club. In its day it was way ahead of most HFL grounds and is still a decent set up. My only gripes are the away end food stall is only open sometimes & they do not open the gate to let folk out that end at the end of the gamewhich means going all the way back around if parked at the leisure centre.

The only problem Celtic may have to overcome is they should be a bout 5 ahead but are not.

The pitch actually looked better this time than our previous visit, the addition of some green stuff on top of the mud hid the fact that underneath must have had some corrugated sheeting blown off a roof somewhere. Add in a howling gale and any idea of playing football was a non starter. We had to adapt our play but for the Rose it was carry on as usual, have to admit their goals were well taken. We kept working away and deserved the draw but think everybody had been glad to get on the bus and head up the road. Stewart McKenzies kicking in general was ok but at least nothing came of him picking up his own goalkick resulting in a freekick in our own box

That was Ochilview, hopefully wont be a last minute descision.

See abit on our site saying there will be no parking at the ground on saturday, last time we were doen got parked near the social club. Will it be out of bounds or not?

Is that the same Rory McAllistar who at 37 is being used sensably when needed ( today with Shanks being carded in the 1st half & 2 goals up rather than chance a silly sending off send on a tried & trusted striker who despite his age and alledgelly having chucked ran the Clyde defence ragged in the 2nd half. As for giving the surface a spray of water before games you may have noticed even top clubs that own thier own ground tend to do this nowadays even plastic pitches get this done to them maybe need to tell the owners at NDP your team dont like it wet.

Thought at times today we knocked the ball about really well.. Lost concentraion at our own freekick which led to Clyde scoring which led to a wee 15min spell of nervy play from us. Was expecting a bigger following from Clyde with form picking up and the battle to stay in the league. We are getting more options now with players returning hopefully we can build momentum at the right time.

We have played ok in spells for a while now but too many draws. This type of games have let us down this season with us probably gropping more points to teams at the lower end of the table than any others. Yes a number of these teams have improved in the 2nd half of the season but we really need to build momentum for the play-offs with a winning run.

There was talk of the pitch being replaced with Astro close season would this still go ahead if dropping back to the Lowland?

Unfortunately those in charge seem detrermined to have this cup either go to another country or a B-Team to justify giving them spots that should go to either LL or HFl clubs

Since you cannot officially win the title on Saturday at home would Warriors fans prefer to wait until the next home game to pick up the trophy. We confirmed our two titles away from home at Broadwood then Hampden while those were good probably would have been better at home. Sure it will be enjoyed when the inevitable happens

Need to do better than our last visit to Ochilview when we were not at the races. Our form since December has been hit & miss and have played well in patches but not closing games out. We have had far too many draws although would probably be happy with one on Saturday to delay the inevetable Stenny title celebrations while there.

As has been the case far too often this season a couple more points dropped, although according to the BBC stats East Fife had 1 shot on target over the game and scored. We really need to start closing games out. Was sitting behind the away dugout so least had Dicks antics to entertain us.
