The career mode being broke in this years game is doing my head in because it's usually the only part of Fifa that I play. I've got 4 saves that are unplayable now which is really annoying. It wouldn't bother me so much if the error message came up during the 1st pre season game but I got to the start of December in two of them, then they decided to stop working. The teams that I'd built were bloody amazing too. Another infuriating thing is the amount of players who I could buy in 17 straight away but now I'll have to wait a season to sign them because they have recently joined the club despite some of them being at their clubs for at least a year in real life. The release clauses on players are totally random with every new career save too which is just ridiculous. The game is basically unplayable for me at the minute because of these issues. Hopefully they get sorted but I'm not optimistic about EA fixing it.
  2. I came out as bi last year, well I thought I was out already but my mates were surprised to hear that I had been dating a few guys. I used to only date and have relationships with women and just have one night stands with men every now and again when I was single. Thinking back though I definitely should have made it clearer to my friends and family and I actually feel bad that they didn't know until I was 29. I admit that I did worry about my sexuality (as daft as that sounds) throughout high school but by the time I slept with a few girls and guys, I was comfortable with my sexuality. I didn't think I needed to come out because I thought it was largely irrelevant to who I was as a person. Maybe ultimately I was scared to admit it to everyone, if that makes any sense. Anyway, my point was going to be about being in agreement with DA's post. One of the things that annoyed me about coming out apart from the extra attention when it was initially announced, was everyone saying how proud they were of me. I didn't feel proud or ashamed, just felt the same really.
  3. Have you tried some of the vote for policies websites that have been linked on here Big Fifer? Might make your decision on who to vote for slightly easier.
  4. Condems Nationalists in his post. Intends to vote for more British people dying unnecessarily due to Tory cuts for the sake of British Nationalism. How patriotic.
  5. My two kittens, Luna and Enzo. I've had the pure black one (Luna, no idea where her name came from) from the end of February when she was 6 months old and I've had Enzo (who I named) for 3 weeks since he was 8 weeks old. The 1st few days were genuine hell with them fighting and getting ridiculously territorial but after that they completely chilled out and are now inseparable. They eat, sleep and play fight together. They have now started cleaning each other as well, which is ridiculously cute. The only annoying thing about them is both of them waking me up at 4:30 almost every morning to get fed but apart from that they are great cats.
  6. I take it they have been commissioned for/by the Sunday Newspapers? If so, we'll probably get the majority of them at about 9-10pm tonight when the front pages are released.
  7. Ruth Davidson loves her country too much to be a Nationalist apparently.
  8. Why is almost everything and everyone that the Tories don't agree with suddenly a threat to the country? Ian Duncan Smith going on about low value people when talking about immigration in an interview aswell. I can't believe people still vote for that fucking sociopath.
  9. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/apr/29/brexit-rights-of-eu-nationals-eu27 What a total clusterfuck. The Tories seem to have no idea on how to deal with the Brexit negotiations.
  10. An easy way that they could check if someone is genuinely ill or not is to contact the persons GP or doctor. Another way could be to request the persons medical records. Instead of the current situation where you often have to pay your own GP to write a letter to the DWP, only for an ATOS nurse to dimiss your doctor, neurologist, physiatrist or whatever other medical documents you have in favour or their own blatant lies and misrepresentation of your personal circumstances. The current system is an ideological attack on the most vulnerable in society, nothing more and nothing less. Disabled people don't and won't mind being assessed fairly, under this Tory government it is anything but fair.
  11. I've not seen that Ian Gray 'smiling' gif in a long time. I used to laugh at that alot during the 1st Indy Ref. I've not heard about him for ages actually, I take it they had him locked in the closet with Gordon Brown? In fact, I don't particularly care what he's been up too.
  12. There is a few cars over the series that need body work fixed tbf. I do agree about it being staged but there is only so much that you can put into an hours show. I bought the series 1-9 boxset or something like that off Amazon a few years back. I really enjoyed it and was genuinely thinking whilst watching that I should buy an older car and restore it, like an idiot. Thankfully, reality set in and I soon realised that restoring a car takes time and money which I don't have. Plus I honestly have numerous heads gone moments changing something simple like a wheel or replacing anything under the bonnet. So f**k that carry on.
  13. I checked her Twitter page last night and she is threatening to take people to court for libel. No doubt she'll have an opinion piece out soon about nasty Scottish nationalists and it'll all be Nicola Sturgeon's fault.
  14. I'll probably fire this up tomorrow to check out the new update. I actually really enjoy this game even though it has massive flaws. I think it's mainly because I like wandering around aimlessly in games, doing nothing of note. That's one of the reasons why I love gta and Skyrim I think. Plus I can catch up with a lot of podcasts while playing it. You do get bored of it rather quickly though. When it was 1st released I played it for about 3 days, 2nd time about 12 days. At least in my 3rd go of it I don't need to look for Fide, he is thankfully been found and is hopefully recovering.
  15. I honestly can't stand Fraser Nelson and his constant Tory cheerleading. I might watch just to see Kez make an arse of herself.
  16. It really is remarkable that people still vote Tory in the UK. Imagine voting for a Political party that is literally killing disabled people.
  17. I'll definitely be appealing the decision. We've been through this before when Labour 1st introduced ATOS to do assessments for them so I know it'll be a frustrating, slow and tedious 12 months but I just need to get on with. Since it was a doctor who did the "medical" this time, I'm seriously considering putting in a formal complaint to her work and to the GMC. I just need to wait until the DWP report and decision is sent out to us. I might contacty local mp as well to see if he can help somehow.
  18. Found out last night that my mum's ESA has been stopped by the DWP because she is apparently fit for work. So it looks like I'll need to move back in with her to support her because she has about £300 in the bank and after that she has no means to feed or support herself. So if you have had 3 brain haemorrhages, have fibromalgia, cronic fatigue, nuero fatigue, depression due to your husband dying of Motor Neurone Disease and letters from a Neurologist, two doctors and her nurse explaining why you aren't fit for work mean f**k all to these utter c***s. Doesn't matter that's she in constant pain and is bed bound almost half the week due to pain, she's fit for work. This is exactly the kind of shite that these disabled murdering parasites get away with and people still vote Tory. I'm just glad me and my brother are around to support her, others aren't so lucky. The unlucky ones starve, the unlucky ones can't keep their medication refrigerated because they have no money to pay their electricity. The unlucky ones die humiliated and penniless all because of an utterly abhorrent, unjustifiable and targeted attack on the poorest and most vulnerable people in society. Sorry for the rant, I'm just so tired and angry about the constant targeting of disabled people by this government, gleefully supported by people that vote for them.
  19. No unfortunately not, I am looking for interesting and intelligent lifeforms though. If I find him I'll let you and the rest of the forum know.
  20. I've started playing this again after ignoring it for months. The 1st time I played it when it was released, I only played it for a week before becoming really bored with it. Like forameus says it does look better, (I think) and there is definitely more creatures roaming about in quite large numbers on some of the planets and it doesn't seem as buggy. The base building has added more depth to the game but it brings it's own frustrations. I've spent two days searching for a Armourer for my base, two fucking days! This means searching and crafting the materials for the warp drive which depending on the solar system can take hours to do. Once I move to a new system, I check the Space Station only to find that instead of finding the armourer I need, I always seem to get a farmer which I already have. I should find this really annoying and should quit the game again but I'm actually really enjoying just exploring and wasting time on this whilst I catch up with all my podcasts. Once I find an Armourer or finish my podcasts I'll not play it again for months, hopefully with more upgrades and things to do.
  21. I had a bizarre dream involving Mick Hucknall and Charlie Nicholas playing football in my street a few months back. Charlie was trying loads of skills and flicks and Mick constantly just blasted he ball against my front window, laughing manically everytime he did it. He always sent Charlie to knock at my door and ask for his ball back too. I was getting more and more annoyed in this dream everytime that cretin Hucknall hit my window and Charlie Nicholas was getting more and more upset everytime he came and asked for his ball back until after the 4th or 5th time, I flipped and told him he wasn't getting his ball back. 2 minutes later Mick Hucknall came to the door whilst Charlie Nicholas stood behind him crying. Mick shouted at me, sounding exactly like Bob Geldoff; 'What the fucks wrong with you!? Give little Charlie his ball back for fucksake! No wonder society is fucked with people like you in it, fucking hell. C'mon Charlie we'll get you a new ball son.' At this point I woke up. I don't really know what to make of this dream, other than the fact that Mick Hucknall is a dick. I don't really dream of famous people either, just my luck that it was Mick Hucknall and Charlie Nicholas ffs.
  22. I'll try that link later on to see if I can sort it. I bought a Tonbux that streams in 4k (can't remember the exact make/model) for the main room of the house and I ended up buying a Fire TV stick and installing Kodi on it for my room. The software is up to date on both so I'm not really sure what the issue is. Like I said last night I find it frustrating that I can't watch live sport on either but overall I have to say the picture and sound quality of the films and TV shows are great. I take it my last option will be uninstalling and reinstalling kodi on both? A bit of a pain in the arse but if I get them both working then I'll be happy in the end.
  23. I've had one of these boxes for two weeks now and I think I've been able to watch a total of 2 mins of live sport before it cuts out. UK Turks doesn't work, sportsmania can't be found when I try to install it, sportsdevil just states that it has an error and Hallow TV is utter garbage. The movies and TV shows are mostly in HD quality and stream great, however the main reason that I bought the box was for live football and so far it has been a total waste of money.
  24. Agreed, the shape of the team was quite bizarre at times last night, it seemed like our whole midfield went missing at certain points during the game. We also played quite a lot of long balls for Austin and Shepherd to run onto, something I've not really seen us doing before. I can't really comment too much on the Development team though because I've barely seen them this season but I thought we were better in the 3-1 defeat to Rangers.
  25. "Let me tell you something Lowcroft, I wish I'd had sex with your wife at the Christmas party like everyone else did" I'm trying to pick the funniest scene but there are far too many. The crack den, Lorraine Kelly offering Vicki a line, Paul Hollywood in the 'biker bar' and the 1st scene with Nigella Lawson and Sleet are all stand outs. Emma Bunton's look of disgust when the two of them are flirting is hilarious.
