  1. Got the slow cooker out again since the wintery weather is creeping in. Beef chilli 900g Beef mince 2 onions finely chopped Fry off in frying pan to brown mince and soften onions. Add to slow cooker with; 2 tins chopped tomatoes 3 cloves garlic crushed 6 deseeded chillies (I prefer to add seeds but it would be too hot for others) 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1 tbspn of dried chilli powder. Cook for 7 to 9 hours. Served with taco shells, salsa, sour cream, guacamole and nacho cheese. Would probably also go well its nachos, pasta or even rice. Enjoy.
  2. He wasn't that bad. I remember him being amazing in his penultimate season with us.
  3. The only similarities are that he's seen as a wasted talent. He's is nowhere near as capable as controlling games like Latapy did. We are losing money hand over fist and I don't see how we could afford Miller let alone that waster.
  4. My issue is that I dont understand why we are losing money. We are currently paying kids to play (which is fine if we break even) . Why are we losing this money? It's shocking.
  5. I cant believe people actually responded to that.
  6. It was excellent.Just finished it today and immediately bought the next one. Shift. Its a prequel apparently. I love a good bleak sci fi story. Coupled with the unravelling of the mystery I thought it was gripping. I'm no book expert but I thought it was very well written and was paced perfectly.
  7. looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.
  8. You can get a hell of a lot of cheeseburgers for 40k
  9. My day out to watch the Partridge movie.
  10. Thanks. Im going to download this for my kindle.
  11. I think some Conspiracies have merit. The clever thing is to flood people with lots of absolute nonsense theories which causes people to lump all conspiracy theories in the same bracket. In short I think most are utter bollocks but there will be some theories that could be true (or partially true) but most people dismiss them.
  12. I'm the same. I like a bit of red on the socks but prefer just navy and white for the rest.
  13. Because I work offshore and only go to games when I'm not working (obviously) I miss about half the games (maybe more) with being at work but still bought a season ticket to help the club out (I was giving them money for nothing essentially). I will no longer be doing this.
  14. Woah! I hope Im not being classed in that. I go to almost every game when I'm home. I feel more than placed to comment on anything that's happening at my club. Edit- One of the things that annoyed me most was at the meeting in the Park Hotel a few months ago (maybe longer) I asked a club member if it was true that we had to sell player to break even only to be told 'No' Although despite the fact that we had sold Higgy and Wallace for around 500k (more if you believe rumours), we still only just broke even. Didnt add up too me. Im fed up of the club lying to fans and treating them like they dont matter. Ill still continue to go to games (and possibly enjoy some of them) but re-writing history to make Richie out to be our saviour is utter lunacy. Hes an utter moron.
  15. I'm in the fortunate position that I can do both. I wont buy one as I wont make all the home games, but that has always been the case and it never stopped me before. I am not getting one specifically due to Richie's various ridiculous decisions which have alienated the fans. Only in football would someone be unhappy at someone for acting in a reasonable manner against a business that has continually alienated its customers and treated them like they don't matter.
  16. I don't need a lecture from any so called 'super fans' I've worked offshore for years (which causes me to miss a lot of home games) and still bought a season ticket as it helped the club out. I'm fed up of this 'stick with them no matter what' attitude. If fans want to blindly hand over their money regardless, then that's their choice. I will not be a mug punter though. I will continue to go and watch Falkirk when it suits me, but football is not the most important thing in my life any more.
  17. Agreed. Its one of the things I'd like us to change. I seem to recall it coming in to football at the end of the 90s. Never like it. We have to try something to get fans back and younger fans potentially mean more money in the future. I think its a good idea to try it. I wont be buying a season ticket again with the current board in charge. I told them that during the Sevco 'love-in' and I'm sticking to it. I thought he was very good in his first season for us (far better than I expected) but its clear to everyone that he's done now at 1st division level. I wish him well.
  18. I liked it initially but f**king hate it now. Peter Kay f**ked it for us
  19. I posted this a few days ago on Twitter. I was in stitches laughing. Watch Rob Walker and the camera man. Brilliant. I was pleased for Maguire.
