  1. The Castrol GTX jacket at the funeral is still one of my all time favourite comedy moments. Im desperate to find one to wear to my mates wedding. hes a huge Partridge fan, it was his house I turned up at dressed as Zombie Partridge before going to see the movie, I thought he was going to pass out laughing. Id obviously only wear it for a short period during the reception, Im not a weirdo
  2. It just goes to show how different it can look from supporters of the team to other fans on the outside looking in. I thought he had done a great job with yous.
  3. I know there have been a lot of wind ups, gloating and general arguing on the thread but I'm genuinely interested to know how the Rangers fans think they'll turn this around? It seems like it's looking pretty bad for them at the moment, financially and on the park. What would be the best outcome Rangers fans can see and how will they get it? Would staying down and stopping the debt rising be acceptable (if thats even possible with the 1st division crowds etc) Is promotion a must to try and balance the books? Would selling Ibrox and renting Hampden (for example, maybe a bad one but you know what I mean) be acceptable to try and save the club a possible administration/liquidation? Perhaps Ive got it all wrong and its not as dire as it appears. Its not an attempt at trolling, Im genuinely interested. The few Rangers fans at my work (see, Im not calling them Sevco as Im trying to be nice) really dont seem to know the way forward and seem mystified by the whole thing. To be honest Im completely lost with whats going on.
  4. I thought he had done quite well with yous? Is my memory playing tricks on me?
  5. f**k up you agnostic scumbag. Get a grip and stop sitting on the fence. Agnostics.... SPLITTERS!
  6. Havent posted on here in a while but Ive read a fair few books since. Shift - Hugh Howey (sequel to Wool and 2nd book in the Silo trilogy) I thought the mystery element would be gone after the revelations of the first book but the questions (and answers) keep on coming. Loved it. The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss. Fantasy book where the main character is telling a scribe about his previous adventures. Difficult to explain but a fantasic fantasy book and I enjoyed it as much as any book I can remember in the last few years. Wise Mans Fear - Patrick Rothfuss. Second book in the Kingkiller Chronicles and whilst not as good as the first it was still an excellent read. If you like fantasy I would recommend trying the them. The wait for the 3rd book to be released is going to be a pain. The Stone Man - Luke Smitherd. I believe this was a self funded book. Its a strange concept. A stone statue appears in Coventry and after a while begins to walk. Its path is perfectly straight and it seemingly can't be stopped. Where its going is unknown and the attempts to stop it are futile. Its a strange premise but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Martin - Andy Weir - Mission to Mars goes wrong and our protagonist is left stranded in a man made habitat. Not much water or food. The account of his attempt at survival mainly through journal readings, intermixed with chapters on Earth of NASAs attempts to find out what happened. Another great sci-fi read. Had me gripped. Enders Game - Orson Scott Card - Humanity tries to regroup after an attack by aliens. Training up children to become battle specialists. Loved it, better than the movie. 1984 - George Orwell. There is nothing I can say about this that hasnt been said before. A huge influence on popular culture and still an absolutely fantastic read despite being written so long ago. There have been others but I cant remember them all. Currenly started reading Neuromancer - William Gibson. Just started it so I have no idea where its going
  7. How are our finances looking now? I havent really heard anything for over the past year or so.
  8. The reputation of McCulloch dropping with the Sevco fans has been of particular amusement for me. He's always been an odious individual who was defended vigorously by the Ibrox faithful. Now they appear to have turned on him.
  9. I hate to say it but I agree with Collymore. The media, and authorities don't five a flying f**k about it. It's an embarrassing insight into Scotlands shameful issues.
  10. Are you saying that you think they could get round the issue using soft loans? From my understanding they have built up quite a lot of debt and are struggling to keep their heads above water. Where would these soft loans come from?My understanding of what's happening at Ibrox is somewhat limited as it's difficult to keep up unless you are constantly reading up on it, which I'm not. So I could be way off the mark. It's a genuine question and not a dig.
  11. Some posters on another thread were discussing the stadium criteria for possible promotion to the top flight. During the discussion it was mentioned that whilst there wasn't a criteria as such, there is a bronze minimum standard which includes finances. How would that affect Sevco? Is there this criteria? What is it. Would then meet this criteria? Would the rules be bent for them again?
  12. Why does Gaz FFC become Gaz on the mobile app in quotes?
  13. Don't know exactly what price he went for but if he's in the region of 'highest transfer fee' the board have done brilliantly. He's no Arfield.
  14. How very dare you! It's a fair cop. I was indeed drunk.
  15. Unreal Tournament. Still the best of the series. Got it cheap on steam. Still as fun as it was the day if was released. Excellent.
  16. I've always thought their home strips looked bad (Finefare specials) but that away kit is dreadful!
  17. Happy Selby won it. I was fed up of Virgo constantly fawning all over Ronnie, it was sickening.
  18. Maersk Oil. It wouldnt be a permanent change. Just until we get the department back up to speed with no green hats etc.
  19. We are trying to get the company to let us to 1 week of nights then 1 week of days every trip. We should do nights every 3rd of 4th week but due to vavancies we have been doing it much more regular. Going off on nights is shit as it takes people a while to turn back round. 1 week of nights then 1 week of days every trip would be great. Although I have just turned round from Nnights and Im currently awake. Its my own fault for sleeping so early last night.
  20. This is the longest nightshift ever. Not allowed to do my work as the plant is starting up. Havent been called once. BORED!!!!!!
  21. Im still using mine but I havent tried any new recipes lately. Ive also been in the process of moving house so I havent had the chance to get online much.
